PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh' JT Kujabi from Kalimu not Bondali Casamance elements in key positions within The Gambia Government.
Who actually is JT Kujabi within our midst?
JT Kujabi is presently serving at The Gambian Mission in Washington DC.Within the hierarchy he could be called a First Secretary but when it is about influence he could be called one of President Jammeh's "feeders-pipes" at the mission.
The truth about JT Kujabi's origin?
JT Kujabi is the son of a man called Atori Kujabi. He was born in a hamlet called Kalimu which is right behind a village called Kangwaali. His father Atori Kujabi and his mother are both from Casamance. JT Kujabi's own birth right as a Gambian is highly questionable, investigations are underway to authenticate where he was born. These investigations are nearing their end, some of the clues received are not all that helpful for JT and his loved ones as far as his birth right as a Gambian is concerned. As soon as we finish our last part from a village head in Casamance(name withheld) the details will be released forthwith to be backed by valid documents.
JT Kujabi will then be given the chance to challenge these revelations therefore allow us complete the process with extra hard facts which will make him spend sleepless nights.
I 'Bulfaaleh' will never send here things to be disputed so easily because I do my home work with extra caution.
JT Kujabi himself claims to have been born in Bondali village but that has been debunked with hard facts. In fact there is no trace of any Kujabi in the lineage of Bondali-Fatty-Maasaneh Ceesay's village history. JT Kujabi has always been known as one person who hates being called a jola all through out these years. However, when it became convenient for him he started refreshing his jola vocabulary. Many of his close relatives are so angry with him about that. He is known as a "FALL-SORR" being someone who bluffs beyond limits.
How JT Kujabi betrayed the trust of his father's friend John Paul Bojang and other close relatives?
JT Kujabi's own father Atori Kujabi and John Paul Bojang former head master, former minister and former Ambassador were very good friends. Mr Bojang did his best to educate JT Kujabi because of the bond of friendship that existed between him and Atori, JT Kujabi's father. This is why JT stayed at Bojang's place in Lamin village from his primary school days to high school. He owes a lot of gratitude to John P Bojang. But the question is whether JT cares about gratitude? Based on findings we received from people in Bwiam and Kanilai who know both JT and John Bojang, the young man is an ungrateful brat. John Bojang could not be reached for comment but some people who sympathise with him are so angry with JT Kujabi. They are angry because they believe today JT has forgotten about John and what he did for him.
How did they justify their case by accusing JT of being ungrateful? Nancy Njie and Abdel Kabir Ngum musician are painted too.
According to these people JT Kujabi abandoned every member of his close relatives therefore chose to recognize Nancy Njie, current secretary of state for tourism as his mother. He trails behind her as a so-called "adopted son".
Nancy and JT Kujabi came to know each other at the GPA-Gambia Ports Authority. This is when Nancy was running a stall there, where she used to sell a local dish we call "Nyambeh Nyebbeh"- beans or Yuka roots(called cassava here in Banjul).
To remind Nancy she is being invited to reflect on the days she used to receive calls from the President's office during breaks. These calls were meant to order 'take-away' delivery food packages from her. She made so many packages to be delivered in favour of the state house personnel. She was then was paid upon delivery. Nancy established her influence at the state house by using her personal connections until she rose to become a secretary of state today. She played her cards very well.
Anyway one can say for the bad though not for the good of our nation. The same Nancy was part of those who helped JT Kujabi be appointed as state house's director of Press and Public relations. JT Kujabi was hired at the ports during former MD Deen's time, has stayed in there until the time of Gibba. Him and Gibba never got along very well according to sources at the state house. This shows how deep nepotism is entrenched in the APRC government under President Jammeh.
JT Kujabi along the way met a young lady who used to work at the social security department, one Ms Ngum the daughter of Abdel Kabir Ngum former pop star of the defunct Gellewaar dance band. The same person later on composed the famous song "Motherland dearest" for ease of reference.
The same Ms Ngum or now Mrs Kujabi later on joined JT Kujabi in Washington DC. Another example for JT to know that we do our homework while unveiling the dirt around President Jammeh's layers of nepotism. That is,his wife after arriving in Washington DC stayed there only for a month therefore came back to Banjul. She came only to visit and return. We understand she is now in DC with JT. We wonder how JT Kujabi could afford to purchase such expensive air tickets within a short period of time if he is not part of corruption-green-zone?
How and why JT Kujabi was posted to Washington DC?
JT Kujabi has to remember that he found people who are more competent than he is at the state house. He also has to remember that it is not about jealousy but it is about fairplay that is why they are talking. Sources close to JT himself heard what he said somewhere therefore relayed it to I 'Bulfaaleh'. They said,JT Promised President Jammeh that he would be able to "silence" all online papers as soon as he reaches Washington. He was heard saying this:" I can handle these guys because I know all of them, I am a journalist like them" This of course was a big shot for JT and Nancy Njie to use therefore convinced President Jammeh to send him to Washington DC. JT Kujabi what have you done so far about that? We are still seeing very serious leakages touching on sensitive topics with authentic facts! The other promise you made was you can either use the computer or other means to "silence" your former colleagues in the field of journalism. Now what we want to know is this! What other means will you use if you cannot use your writing skills to stop these determined journalists? Who are hitting so hard on your boss's dark side of a long story!
JT Kujabi's marriage ceremony at Bakau-money squandered mercilessly!
JT Kujabi wanted to reject a notion he heard before his marriage ceremony with the young lady from social security department. He was told that his folks are stingy people or what they call "nai" in Banjul, therefore they do not spend attractive amounts during marriage ceremonies. JT promised to show that he is different person from the lot he left in Foni.
JT during the middle of the ceremony while griots were singing his praises and those of his wife, did something rare and strange. He stood right in the middle of the crowd, filled his 'kaftaan' with new currency notes then asked his wife to be dipping her hands in his pockets and then throw them out to the crowd. People (griots) rushed to pick those notes like chicken following grains during starvation. As soon as his pockets were emptied he asked her to fill them again with news notes. JT has to be careful of trying to refute this story because I have the marriage ceremony's video with me. I can easily release it if he chooses to ask for any hard facts along the way. I 'Bulfaaleh' will never joke about this cause, JT.
That day's picture is still in my mind. JT I was there in the crowd.
May our country's economy rest in peace near people like JT and his boss President Jammeh. More will be released on JT Kujabi because he is another crook who must be known before this regime ends.
Editors note: We have been pondering over Bulfaleh’s piece for the past couple of days. It was not an easy editorial decision to run this scary revelation, but no matter what the job has to be carried out. Journalism is beyond friendship. Our good friend Ebrima JT Kujabi is free to send us his reaction. This is an opinion coming from one of the founding writers of this paper, Bulfaaleh. Bulfaaleh works at the statehouse in Banjul. I must say that this is an insider who had been rattling Jammeh’s cage over the years and he is back online, this time with a damning revelation about our long time friend JT Kujabi. One of our Editors is currently in Africa on vacation. He is expected back in the office sometime next week. Thanks for your attention.
