Sahou Mballow Felicitates Freedom Newspaper

Dear Editor Pa Nderry Mbai,

I  am proud to join many of your readers in congratulating you and staff of the Freedom  news paper as you celebrate its 3rd anniversary on line.

There is no doubt the Freedom newspaper has been an indispensable in the life of Gambians for the past three years of existence. The paper has always served as a true source of information and a traditional Gambian "BANTABA" meaning a venue where important issues and concerns of the day are discuss.

Through this anniversary it is important to remember the Freedom news paper has survived a serious hacking a year ago sponsored by the enemy of the press. In fact one would say survival of that hacking has earned the paper respect of many true lovers of the press.

Congratulations and keep up the good work and the struggle for press freedom in The Gambia.
