Dear Mr Editor,

They say only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the midday sun?The GPU has done itself a great service by exposing its democratic principles  to the online world. I believe to the victors the spoils ...... as they say. Even the great Watchman acknowledges that his spat with Sankanu was mere trivial. Hail Watchman !!!

I like Bubacarr Sankanu..he's a lot of fun and makes a lot of sense. I share his passion for the ladies.. though not quite so large.{oops !!! }

The attempted coup d'eta has failed and has served the Gambian online media well...As I once said to Jammeh...".keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer." Within 3 months of that advice. the President of the first Republic returned home. Pure coincidence of course?

To my friend Demba Jawo I say..wise words  old friend.....and to my sister Fatou Jaw Manneh......cometh the hour .....cometh the Lady. Yet again !!!

Of course I am an impartial observer..not like the one in Banjul....but they say every dog has its day.....and the other day the dog had its dinner. Hail Halake !!!

An argument ceases to become an argument when first blood is drawn.The question for the non Gambian's born out of wedlock to the old democracies is.... can Gambian's hack it without resorting to online violence. Can The Gambia provide to the world the reassurance

that they will and can travel above Jammeh's legacy in West Africa...?

Or as Sankanu once posited...The Devil for Satan.

Thankfully in me you have an independent witness to the potential greatness of The Gambian male... Not like the tunnel vision given on the subject by testosterone Jammeh.
