 Thank you for making my Saturday! Truly, I admire your writing style and I must say you do have “the gift” which comes through in your writing.

I am sure you do not expect me to hurl "intercontinental missiles" towards you in response to your “attack” on my person, but hey we all want people to express themselves. I most certainly do not see myself anywhere near the likes of Steve Biko (Biko takes up the first 4 pages of my book Freedom Essays) - but it is good for this old and battered ego to be mentioned in the same breath with the Great Man, even if only by a mere Gambian Watchman!

If you invite me Watchman (expenses paid!), I will  most certainly attend your proposed “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” – to defend the APRC’s record on Infrastructure Development across the country, though I must warn you that I would take the Fifth Amendment if a question regarding Human Rights is put to me.

You end by saying: “Judging by his feats in the past, he'd probably say this is none of my affair as God himself has "sanctioned' his "heroic deeds". I agree.”.
