Dr. Saja Taal Named In Chief Manneh’s Killing!!!  

OUR OWN CASSANDARA: HOLD THE BULL BY THE HORN AND STOP RIGMAROLLING,THE REAL CULPRIT IS BEING LET LOOSE.

I feel angry and disenchanted when I hear relations and activists all over the whole condemning the scape goat,Marie Saine Firdaus as against the top brass criminal rolling around Banjul;Dr.Alieu Badara Sajar Taal.I use his real name so as to make everyone aware of it in case of justice.

From all indications, the real culprit in the whole Chief Ebrima Mannneh case is this shameless man.This is the man who need to answer to the charges in any court of law;in legal terms; he is an accessory to the crime because he initiates the arrest of Chief Manneh.In 2006,with Saja Taal as the Managing Director of the Observer;even the layman realise that it is pro governement;therefore the clandestine and nefarious agents of the state[NIA]would not have time to poke their nose in the company sniffing bad apples; so did it happen on the faithful July day 2006,when the Gambia was basking in the sun of glory as her president clamored in the whole world as the host of all African presidents. The scenario has never been hidden but the incident that led to it has been swept under the carpet; It was loud mouted Saja Taal who reported Chief Manneh to the NIA AND THAT WAS THE CAUSE OF HIS ARREST. Without reporting him, he would not have been arrested; therefore anyone who reported Chief Manneh is equally guilty of any fate he is exposed to.It is pertinent to note that Saja Taal has long been a liar, indeed a disrespectful and disregarded liar of the Gambian State. Sometime in November 2001,at the Faculty building in the University of the Gambia;Dr.Saja Taal yelled, fumed and threatened the University authorities for reprehension if they allowed GAMSU to hold a symposium in the premises commemorating, International Student’s day. The late former Nigerian Vice Chancellor was too scared to give a go ahead; who was Saja Taal then,a mere political Science Lecturer. As APRC Administrative Secretary, he reported and engineered the debacles of the UDP in Basse,Kiang and the Kombos.This is a liar, a real liar. Aided by Baboucarr Jatta,disgraced former Army Commander, they unleashed the Armed forces on innocent citizens during the 2001 elections and the undermining of Gamsu to Napsa in learning institutions around the country.Lets I forget,Ruthless and ungrateful Baboucarr Jatta is begging former subordinates in the streets alongside Saja Taal.His debacles would be revealed when people in the diaspora whose parents he mistreated in the Kombos finish with him.

The story of Chief Manneh would never be written without Saja Taal surfacing. The family of Chief Manneh should make a criminal complaint at Kanifing Magistrates Court against Saja Taal.This would be done for record purposes because everyone knows the case wouldn’t  go nowhere. This would put them atune with any legal ramifications like Status of Limitations. Then anytime, there is rule of law in our country; they could bring up both criminal and civil charges against him. The Men’s Rea would be the Undue Burden test; declaring that ,Chief Manneh’s suffocation and unclear fate emanates from him being reported by Saja Taal and that action made them the family lose support and assistance from their bread winner son.Media Foundation Of West Africa should bring criminal charges against Saja Taal at the Ecowas court. This would make him a fugitive in the sub region and must be stationed in his rented apartment for the rest of the term of Yahya Jammeh and in Jail thereafter.

The story of Chief Manneh is a saddened one and I applaud all blames on the Government, the Attorney General for speaking about him [I believe she might not know his fate and dared authenticate the answers she received from service heads]. She was not in office when he disappeared and should not have answered the question as her predecessors did; failing to answer would be wrong but not to the magnitude of this unconvincing answer.

The magnitude of the blame in the issue of Chief Ebrima Manneh should be laid on Saja Taal.He should not be moving scot-free in the Gambia. Let him be taken to task for his actions and let him remember in his sleep and around his house that he is an Accessory to False arrest, False imprisonment, Human Rights violation, Inhuman degradation and above all[ if he is dead as many believe now]murder in the first degree.Dr Saja Taal is the number one criminal in the issue of Chief Ebrima Manneh.Get him now!!!!!.
