President Yahya Jammeh has expelled Yankuba Touray from the Ruling APRC party with immediate effect, the Freedom Newspaper can reveal.  Fisheries Minister Touray was also fired from his party. Touray is one of the founder members of APRC. Until his dismissal from the Government, Touray used to double as the party's chief Progandist.  Details are sketchy about his expulsion from the APRC.

Mr. Touray who was implicated in a wife snatching scandal has fallen out with The Gambian leader.  Touray must start looking for a new job, as the Government had decided to disown him for good.  The disgraced Minister was said to have angered The Gambian leader, but our sources would not go into details about the real cause of the problem. 

Mr. Touray's removal was also announced by the state media. Attempts to reach Touray for comments proved abortive.  This paper will keep you posted with developments.
