Mathew Try To Get Your Facts Right-Reader Accuses Mathew Of Spreading Misinformation

Mathew K Jallow seems to be a noisy so called journalist and I cannot understand why we should continue to ignore his arrogance. I was absolutely happy with the way Sheriff Bojang handled him.

The Gambia Press Association

When was he made interim-president of a Gambian press organisation? Who are the members of his Gambia Press Association – USA? Mathew is more like a loose cannon and waging a war that he can hardly handle with intelligence and maturity. It was the same Mathew who talked about having Gambian journalists both in the USA and UK under one umbrella organisation, but to my total dismay Sarjo Bajang and his team in the UK formed their own press organisation kicking away Mathew’s suggestion. How can you form the Gambia Press Association when we still have the Gambia Press Union-USA?

Journalist exiled

Mathew the list of journalists on exiled that you sent to Ecowas is the biggest blunder from you. I want to help you here to get the facts straight and want you to know its not only Sheriff and Cherno who you classified as exiled Gambian journalists when they are not :-

1.   Lamin Jatta: - He was a former reporter with the Daily Observer and left after securing US visa from the US Embassy in Banjul to further his studies.

2.   Emran Saidy: - Was with The Point and a popular youth leader. He also left to further his studies.

3.   Augustus Mendy: - He was also with the Daily Observer and left to further his studies.

And some of the other names you mentioned turned themselves into exiled journalists, after arriving in the USA. Some of them were not even known in The Gambia. For people like Pa Nderry, Alagie Yorro and others we can accept that but not the likes of........ 

I think you need to write back to ECOWAS and apologise for sending a wrong list and stop being noisy!
