Former Junta Vice Chairman Sana Bairo Sabally Reacts To The Promotion Of Gambia’s Army Officers!!!

Good Day!
I was just informed about your FREEDOMNEWSPAPER' s publication on the GNA Officers' Promotions titled "....AS JAMMEH PROMOTE DOZENS OF ARMY OFFICERS..." 
 I deemed it very necessary to write and send you the Ranks Structure "RANKS IN THE ARMED FORCES (UK & US)"   
 

This is for the benefit of your readership so we can all know and understand any particular RANK(s) being talked about being it in promotions/demotions and/or about any particular person(s) in the Armed Forces, whether still serving (active) or otherwise.

To quite understand the GNA Ranks one must have to see those of the UK (British Army). They are the same.
In the Armed Forces, the Ranks Structure starts from the bottom of the ladder (1st rung: No. 01. PRIVATE (Pte)) to the top of the ladder (last rung: No. 23. FIELD MARSHAL (FM)).
 

To the Promoters, Promoted, and Yet-to-be-Promoted, I say "CONGRATULATIONS"  and "Keep The Gambian Flag High: Loyalty to the Nation. And The National Anthem is our Guide:

The GNA lives, not for itself or any individual (s) or group (s), but for the Nation of The Gambia. The Armed Forces are empowered by the Nation's Constitution: "In a genuine Democracy, the Constitution is the Supreme Law".
