Gambian Warns Against Violence Change Of
Gov’t
…Calls On Citizens To Put Their Faith In God
By Yusupha Darboe
Mr. M’bai, greetings to you and the entire freedom news media. I would request the opportunity to express my opinion on the issue of our country The Gambia.
Firstly, will take a great gratitude in thanking Almighty God whose dominion and power is above all
Secondly, will thank both the writers and readers of the freedom newspaper.
A lot has been expressed concerning the freedom of our country and its democracy and that shows a great love for our country. The generation and the political structure have raised some attention to the Gambians at the Diaspora. I remember those days when politics use to be for mom and dad while the outdoor activities for us the kids, never have to worry about who was who as long as we were protected, loved, fed, sheltered and taken to school, life was good.
Here comes a time when the realization came in to play that politics has everything to do with our lives. The politics of today is of a great concern.
I want to remind my fellow Gambians that no course of action comes to being without the will of God and no change is possible without the due time of God. We do what we can and pray for the best results. God’s time is more rewarding than the time desired.
We all agree that a human’s character is of two kinds that are the good and the evil and we always pray to witness and benefit from the good of people and be protected from the evil part of ourselves.
These are true founding realities of ourselves knowing that we as human are not perfect by endowment neither by nature but can practice perfectness with the Help of God. Change and the principal of democracy and human rights that we seek is not a war to fight by ourselves and let us bear witness that Almighty God has a bigger part to play to what we want to achieve. Let us be reminded that If the entire world is to rally to destroy or change that which have been destined to exist by God they can only do what God has permitted them to do in due appointed time.
The search for freedom and human right enforcement is a great course and the Giver of its price Is God, no human can guarantee freedom to another fellow human without the help of God. With all the expression of the human rights abuse there are some who lived and never witness it as God has protected them from the evil of it.
Whoever God has protected can never be harmed by which he has been protected of and whose life has been destine to struggle as a test of faith shall inherit the struggle for which God has set as a path in life which comes with reward, as those examples were set to men before us and will be on those after us.
Seek of the good from God and seek for its protection from God. Every roll giving to mankind has an appointed time and when change is due another destine to lead at an appointed time will take over.
War or forced change that will bring harm to the innocent men, women and children is not the kind that God has welcomed from his created being and whoever abuse an entrusted authority and bring harm to the people that are powerless shall be punished by God and his punishment is not comparable to that of men as his love for his creation is more powerful than the created. Compassion and love for one another can inspire peace and harmony.
Let us hold hands in difficult times and pray to God to protect the good of ourselves from the evil of ourselves and distance evil from our site. Let us welcome a change that will bring peace and stability not hate corruption and division.
He almighty is the solution to all problems big or small he is the grantor of peace and the protector of peace. Never for a moment should we count him out of our problems but to cherish his presence and seek for his action and protection. All we need is patience for his due appointed time but to be mindful for what you wish for as that could lead to more problems which could be of great harm to the innocent.
And let us bare witness that no one could be more angered by injustice action than the one who created all.
I pray to God to protect those that experience an act of injustices and I pray to God to help strengthen the good of ourselves to overshadow the evil of our selves.
