Desist from contacting me, for humanitarian assistance directly via the internet-Scales Tells Gambians

…Says The NIA Has Intercepted Some Of His Private Communications

As Scales Renounces His Gunjur Honorary Citizenship

Dear Mr. Editor,

May I use your good offices, to further advise Gambians to desist from contacting me, for humanitarian assistance directly via the internet. I have received reports that these communications have been intercepted by The Gambia's intelligence services and that some e/mail addresses have been infiltrated. Whilst I appreciate that by changing these addresses will give some relief in the short term, their safety cannot be totally guaranteed indefinitely. I have also made it a firm rule that I will not entertain any "talk" regarding the Gambian government or its politics. I communicate only on the relevant and dire need of the caller. The method on which I respond with aid is a well guarded secret.

 I will continue to respond with "Kindness" and due consideration to those most in dire need of assistance. I priorities these as;

1 Medical need

2 Schooling fees

3 Food

4 Housing

5 Sports

6 Visa

  I have made it public that I have returned my honorary citizenship of Gunjur. I would not want to implicate any citizen of my beloved community by association.{A sad state of affairs}

 I remain an Executive of The National Sports Council by government memorandum of intent and consent. I now formally resign from this.

My total financial outlay to date and from April 2000 now stands at well over 8 million dalasis  to good causes in The Gambia and some £35,000 to Nigeria.

It is noted as an advocate of free speech and its expression, closely allied to the aims and ambitions of The Freedom Newspaper, has  been rewarded by my placement upon The Gambia's most wanted list, by The NIA. May I add that this is by far the greatest honor that I have collected within my lifetimes work? Let us see whether I can gain a much higher placement than 12th place. For I have always been ambitious.

It was also humbly received to be nominated as an honorary Chieftain of Nigeria for my work in support of African's. An honor that Sir Richard Branson has tried and so far failed to attain. I have of course respectfully and most humbly refused this. I did not come to Africa for personal gain or reward. Any reward is only for the consideration of God’s grace. The ultimate and most powerful Judge of all.

 It is also well known to The Editor of The Freedom Newspaper, and to members of The Gambian government, that I have for 4 years now been engaged in a legal action which may spill over into the jurisdiction of The Gambia. I was successful and gained Judgment in my favor on the 3rd March this year. My legal team which includes an eminent QC and a plethora of Lawyers, supported by medical Professors, Consultant doctors and support staff, are presently engaged with The Defendants solicitors to determine the cost and the award for possible substantial compensation. It may well be that officers and commercial agents presently connected to The Gambia's tourist industry and medical capability, may be engaged in litigation, at the end of the present legal dispensation.

 Upper most in my mind would be the extreme and potential damage that would inevitably follow from such a high profile action to The Gambia's tourist industry. For I would be reluctant to harm one hair of any Gambian by default of such an action.

My present position therefore remains fluid and would definitely advantage those who would see such an opportunity to highlight the Gambia's vulnerability to such a challenge.

 I will take into just consideration any further slight upon my good name and character by The Gambian government. For my support is broadly based within The Gambia and without the diaspora. The details of my corroborated evidence would shock and surprise even the most worldly onlooker. I have, to date respected the confidentiality of those with whom I worked closely with in The Gambia. The President would be well advised to consult those who I have not yet mentioned by name.

 For it may be open to me, to directly challenge Gambian President Yahya Jammeh, to a charge of Defamation in an Independent  Ecowas Civil court.

 I trust I have made my position abundantly clear.

 Thank you, Mr. Editor for this intrusion into your busy day.

   I remain Michael..U.K.
