Why June and July before october 2006?
June 2006 is a special target for President Jammeh.It is the month when Gambians expect African heads of state in Banjul.It is also the same month President Jammeh targets to host the Roots home coming festival once again in Kanilai. These events worth a lot for Jammeh.Sure this is why he took it upon himself to start what he has always hated ie talking 'nicely'? with the opposition.Obasanjo told Jammeh to be mindful of what is going on between him and his opponents if he wants to host the event in June. Alright...President Jammeh has June.July,August,September before the actual presidential elections.This is going to be Jammeh's hottest campaign period.
Anyway Jammeh needs to pay heed to what the MCA and World Bank are working on towards leaders like him.Jammeh is compounding two events in one period to his advantage,He will organize the Roots home coming festival.Host the AU and then Jump start the July 22nd events from June.
Rumours are rife that Jammeh wants to reduce the cost of rice in the provinces by ordering a consignment on his own.This will not solve the problem because it will be a temporary solution.Most likely he will start reducing the price of rice before his meet the people's tour or do so at a chosen period ie which will be to his political advantage.
Do we have Pakistani Intelligence officials in Banjul?
It is widely believed that President Jammeh hired the services of Intelligence officials from Pakistan.People who know the real picture of world politics are astonished.How can President Jammeh handle Turkish,Pakistani and Moroccan officials under his watch? This is strange.The ferry terminal and Banjul airport receive a lot of strange faces every day.Arming the police too?
Banning civilians from wearing casual military dresses in Gambia?
This comes at a time when Yankuba Touray is saying Jammeh is the only one who can maintain peace and stability in The Gambia. Aren't there growing challenges as far as security in The Gambia is concerned ?

Jammeh has to know that Musicians like Musa Ngum have been wearing military dresses for so many years now and Musa has aways been promoting peace and happiness as a singer.
It is not lawful for soldiers also to put on military dresses when they are not on active duty.President Jammeh should also help us wipe out vehicles without number plates within our traffic.I have been seeing a lot of them on the Banjul high way these days.
He should also help us stop soldiers from wearing masks like ninjas when attacking people he percieves as enemies.Why are they stalking people like OJ and Halifa these days? Jammeh knows what is going on even whereas he is preaching peace and reconiliation.
