President Jammeh To  Rehire General Tamba- Sources revealed

Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh is working on rehiring General Lang Tombong Tamba, this paper has been informed. The President said our sources had a private conversation with the erstwhile General with the objective of reassigning him elsewhere outside the military. All investigations against Tamba has been discontinued said our sources. This followed a Presidential directives.

General Tamba is likely to take up appointment in the diplomatic field, sources said.  Sources said Tamba has reaffirmed his loyalty to the President and his APRC Government. “ He has since been going about his normal life. No charges was filed against Tamba. The President is considering reassigning him somewhere outside the military,” said source said.

Mr. Tamba is currently residing at his Kololi residence. He has secured a brand new car, which he is often seen riding around town. There is no sign of worry visible on his face. He is still living a good life.
