GMC Leader Mai Fatty Praises  Michael Scales

THANK YOU MR. MICHAEL SCALES

I’d like to commend Mr. Michael Scales, British philanthropist and businessman, for his kind intervention in trying to secure British Government’s active political support for international action in favour  of victims of victims of human rights abuse in The Gambia, and in particular The GPU 7.

The documentary information to this effect recently published online provided further assurance that Mr. Scales and his wife Her Royal Highness are genuine friends of The Gambia. It is clear that Mr. Scales’ intervention was purely on principle, his conviction and love for Gambian people. On behalf of GMC and all crusaders for justice and human rights in The Gambia, thank you very much.

I urge all genuine Friends of The Gambia to emulate Mr. Scales in this particular activity by publicly demonstrating support for the fight against impunity in The Gambia. 

However at the end, it is we Gambians ourselves who must demand justice and take complete ownership of the fight against impunity and dictatorship.
