Dear Pa,

They say Rome was not built in a day. But your remarkable achievement in your academic endeavors must be commended. I want to extend sincere felicitations and urge you to continue the sterling work you are doing for the voiceless and suppressed Gambians. May you live to witness more prestigious and plentiful awards. One day you will be rightfully placed in the journalistic annals of Gambian history. You have been able to expose and reports factually and give hope to the deprived and hopeless. One thing though, you have to retrospectively assess some of you clandestine informants or news-givers. Because these are the very same people who, when giving top positions by Yaya Jammeh, will defend his government records by hook or crook thus glorifying him to what he became today. Sometimes I wonder why the outpouring of sympathy and support for the deposed General Tamba when we all know that he masterminded the faked  2006 attempted coup that regrettably saw many innocent people tortured and forced to admit quilt. Lang Tomba was present throughout the forced extractions of confessions made by all those who were framed including Colonel Ndure Cham, And the mere mentioning of any name would most likely put that person in trouble if his life was spared. The Rome that we are building should be free from hypocrites, sycophants and power brokers. One day you will be seen as the one who gave Gambians hope in the difficult times of blatant abuse of their rights. CONGRATS
