Missing Arms, Money, Persons In Banjul
Amadou Samba, Lebanese Rambo, General Tamba, General Drammeh, And Others Implicated By An NIA Imposter Buramanding Marreh
How Young Buramanding Marreh Managed To Penetrate Kanilai, Farafenni Army Barracks, And Other Security Locations To Collect Arms In The Name Of Influential Gambians
IGP Badjie Under Arrest!!!
By Bakary Kujabi, Kanilai
A good number of arms and ammunitions have been circulated into the country. We can confirm with authority that some of the arms have been hidden in different locations. Matter of fact, Banjul, the capital city is one of the locations, where the said arms are hidden. The circulation of the said arms, followed a burglary at the Farafenni army barracks. You wouldn’t believe this: Buramanding Marreh, was linked to the said burglary, which led to the massive arrest of civilians, and top security chiefs across the country.
The story goes like this: Buramanding Marreh is a civilian. He is less than 23 years old. He operates with multiple names (identifications). He was sponsored by General Tamba to pursue professional career with Jollof Tutors.
Young Marreh was able to penetrate the country’s big businesses, military, and Kanilai, the President’s home village. Big business shots such as Amadou Samba, Rambo, the Lebanese, and others were implicated by Marreh. He was said to have extorted a huge amount of money from them in the name of General Tamba.
A smart looking, and elegant Buramanding would conduct security checkpoints singlehandedly without being noticed by Jammeh’s own NIA. He searches private, and commercial vehicles. He also visits military barracks, and collect arms from Farafenni, Kanilai, and elsewhere across the country. He was widely feared. Soldiers in these locations were with the impression that he works for the NIA, and could not turn down his request for arms. He always uses the name of General Tamba, and Yankuba Drammeh during his clandestine operations. That is how he was able to penetrate Amadou Samba.
It was earlier reported by this paper that Mr. Marreh and one Pa Sayang, the brother of General Tamba’s wife were recruited as undercover informants by IGP Badjie. It has turned out that this boy Marreh was indeed up to something bigger than undercover world. He was out to remove Jammeh. But it is not clear who are his backers. How he managed to gather such funds without the knowledge of the NIA beats the agency’s imagination.
IGP Badjie has been arrested. He is currently under investigations. The NIA is trying to trace the collected money, missing arms, and those connected to his scam. Marreh openly claimed he has backing of top officials in Government. The business community believed into his story.
Young Marreh hailed from Buwiam. He was able to collect a large consignment of arms from the Farafenni armory, and smuggled some of the arms from the barracks, a top military source said. Some rocket launchers, and other artillery weapons have went missing at the said barracks. Yahya Jammeh has not been properly briefed by his intelligence operatives. We are here to report the facts, and nothing but the facts.
The reinstatement of former Deputy Chief Defense Staff Yankuba Drammeh was possible, following an investigation conducted absolving him from the Farafenni armory theft case. CDS Drammeh was implicated by Marreh, who informed investigators that he was sent by the former to get arms for him in a bid to topple President Jammeh’s Government. Both Marreh, and CDS Yankuba Drammeh came from Buwiam, but Drammeh was baffled by Marreh’s allegations when grilled by the NIA. Drammeh said he does not know the said Buramanding Marreh, who was from Buwiamkankuntu. This was why Yankuba Drammeh was arrested, demoted to private, before was he was fired from the force.
A top army chief informed this paper that Marreh was put at a gun point by his captives, who compelled him to name his accomplice(s), or risked being killed. The army official said Marreh was subjected to a systematic torture in a bid to illicit confession from him. He finally let the cat out of the bag, when he claimed that he was sent by the sacked army chief of staff General Lang Tombong Tamba to get some arms for him. Although, his claims could not be independently confirmed.
Marreh informed investigators that General Tamba was his “ GOD FATHER,” and as such he was obliged to execute any order given to him by the erstwhile army General. He said General Tamba has done a lot of things for him. He was also opposed to Tamba’s unceremonious removal. He thought that the best way to avenge it was to mobilize arms for a possible takeover, sources said.
General Yankuba Drammeh was set free, following Marreh’s confessions. Marreh changes his story, which led to Drammeh’s reinstatement into the military. Drammeh has since returned to work.
There are fears that Buramanding Marreh might be murdered. His own family could not give account about his whereabouts. They could not tell Buramanding is alive, or dead.
Thanks to a top army chief in active duty, they were briefed about Marreh’s current predicament, sources said. Marreh is between life and death. If Jammeh’s thugs decide to take his life-without availing him the right to due process of the law, then there is cause for concern.
We deemed it imperative to expose his story to the world. There is also fear that General Tamba might as well be secretly executed by the Government. Tamba, like other detainees are being constantly harassed by their captives. The Government wants them to confess to a crime they are not privy to.
There are more questions than answers in regards to the Farafenni armory theft case. We have not been told where the missing arms are? Who are Marreh’s accomplice(s) ? Why are the arms hidden in different locations? Do you think General Tamba is that stupid to use a civilian get him arms? Why should Amadou Samba be fooled by such school dropout? Who is going to benefit from the missing arms? Who dumped the AK 47 riffle at a Kuntaur Tuba farm? Why is the state not willing to discuss the Farafenni army burglary case?
The NIA are also investigating checks, he Marreh stole from General Tamba’s home and was cashed out at a local bank. A top army officer name withheld assisted Marreh to cash the said checks for him. The said officer was recently arrested and dismissed from the force. We know what we talking about. Jammeh should not mess with us. We are on top of the game.
In another development, Amadou Samba, and Muhammed Jah have been released from custody. The are going about their normal life. The President is playing with mind game these days.
