Yahya Jammeh recently telephoned General Tamba at the Mile Two Prisons, where the former Army General hung up the phone on Jammeh’s ears, prison sources said. It all started when Prison Director David Colley instructed his guards to escort Tamba to his offices. Colley received a phone call from the BIG MAN Jammeh, who requested to speak to General Tamba. Tamba showed up and once he picked up the phone and heard Jammeh’s voice he hung up the phone. The disgraced Jammeh kept saying “LT. this is HE.” But Tamba was gone.  Jammeh called again, and requested to speak to Tamba. Tamba hung up the phone again. He told David Colley that he doesn’t want to speak to Jammeh. He said he was being humiliated while in custody.

Tamba talked about the degrading conditions of his detention. He and five others were dumped in a tiny cell without a toilet. Tamba also said they defecate in a bucket. He informed Colley that he was being moved to different detention facilities: Yundum, NIA and elsewhere in the country.  Tamba was also being bullied by the former military detainees, who branded him as the so called General.

The disgruntled former army chief was calmed down by David Colley, who prevailed on him to talk to the President if he calls next time. The President called the third time, but this time Tamba agreed to speak with him. The details of their conversation was not communicated to this paper. Sources said the President is trying to reach  a truce with the former army chief.

Yahya Jammeh would be surprised about the interception of his phone conversation with Tamba. This President has no privacy these days. We have access to his own bed room. Jammeh is a fake and our military should watch their back. We shall see who would be the winner at the end of day. Jammeh should resign if he doesn't want to be killed.
