Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh has ordered for the arrest and imprisonment of a Banjul old lady who was accused of setting the mangrove swamps along Denton bridge, said sources reaching the Freedom Newspaper.  Alieu Faye is a naturalized Gambia US citizen based in Indiana.  Mr. Faye is appealing to President Jammeh to help facilitate the release of his sister Mbaheh Ndure.  Ms. Ndure is currently detained at Mile Two Central Prisons.  Here is an audio interview we had with Mr. Faye who has been living in the US for the past 4o years.  Visit this link, and to listen to the interview.
