Momodou Drammeh Defends Minister
Sonko On Wife Battering Allegations

MINISTER SONKO NOT ENGULFED IN ANY DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SCANDAL
Dear Pa Nderry,
Thank you for allowing me to come to the defense of both Ms. Njemeh Bah and Mr. Ousman Sonko.
First of all, I am writing this rebuttal without the consent of both parties aforementioned; neither Njemeh nor Sonko asked me to set the record straight. This is solely my rebuttal. If not corrected, there is a child who will grow up learning his father was falsely accused of taking his mother’s life. That’s ABSURD! The story was false and untrue.
Rebuttal:
Sainey Tunkara (if that’s his real name), Freedom contributing writer, needs to find something better and productive to contribute; his contribution here is bogus. This type of character assassination is unacceptable.
Lady Njemeh Bah was a good wife and mother so as Ousman Sonko a wonderful husband and father. They were never “engulfed in any domestic violence scandal.” The notion that he “beats, and threatens to kill his wife” is foolish.
As far as I know and as of this hour, there exists a close family relationship between Njemeh Bah and Ousman Sonko. So tell Sainey Tunkara to check with his so called sources and to rectify his contribution on this subject.
In conclusion, ask SAINEY TUNKARA and his SOURCES who assisted Njemeh Bah on the so called “escape trip” to the United States? By the way, the child leaves in Gambia and he is well taken care of by both parents. So to you and your readers, go figure on the rest of the bogus contribution.

Editors note: Thanks Mr. Drammeh for drawing our attention to the said story. We appreciate your clarification, but in all fairness the onus lies on Minister Ousman Sonko and his wife Njemeh Bah to clear the air. We are treating the said report as mere allegations until proven in a court of law. We have no intention to defame both parties. Thanks for the clarification.
