A financial expert working with the government of President Jammeh revealed this....That, the amount of 80M Gambian Dalasis has so far been wasted on the preparations of the coming AU visit. This of course means nothing to the huge budget that’s waiting to be slayed by a drunken President, who wants to make a name while riding on the shoulders of Gambian tax payers.

There are financial experts predicting that after the AU meeting The Gambia will realise significant shocks on its fragile economy.

It is a shame! A real shane for that matter. If President Jammeh can divert funds from the central bank into his account in Switzerland who says he will not shamelessly construct a 16th century conference center in Banjul? He will for sure get his usual CUT from the funds.

The conference center is a big shame, according to what I saw after having been given a tip of by an insider. I was there today. This place is far from being ready. The technicians are confused because it is so hard to receive orders from someone who knows nothing about civil engineering and the like. President Jammeh brags about designing projects or cars. He President Jammeh lies to people saying that he designed the extension on the upper part of the Banjul arch. He said this to a girl he was dating. President Jammeh I challenge you to deny that. Do you think the source who told me this information is abroad or near you?

it comes to conflict resolution?

The African Union is helping brew a civil war in The Gambia. They are pretending to feel okay with President Jammeh when all they read and hear are real signals leading towards a civil war in Banjul. Why have they chosen that route? There are financial experts predicting that after the AU meeting The Gambia will realise significant shocks on its fragile economy. What matters is not the grandiose style of speeches and escorts. Here we are thinking of the returns and benefits this expensive occasions can give back to Banjul? There will be none other than helping start a civil unrest in The Gambia period. The African Union has completely disregarded its charters on conflict resolution. How on earth can they even imagine coming to Banjul when we are not in talking terms with Dakar? That in itself is a shame on Sasou Nguesso and Conateh.

These two figures have already been petitioned by Gambians from Banjul itself. The petition was given to a West African pilot who has special links at the AU. bureau. A petition was secretly circulating the place for the past days many people have appended their signatures on it. This paper has been forwarded to the AU Center in Addis Ababa with the help of the pilot(name withheld for obvious reasons). Whether AU pays attention to it or not they would at least not say they were not warned about how they are helping start a war in The Gambia.

I have met someone from Dakar who was here on a private visit. He is so concerned about the way the AU is ignoring the Banjul/Dakar silent conflict. He was also concerned why they have not even attempted to bring peace between President Jammeh and the Gambians he arresting everyday! The same kind of internal political tensions were brewing between late General Manneh and Nino some years back. The AU and ECOWAS did not care that much but when the war started in Bissau they wasted more resources on conflict resolutions. Saying these things is not a security threat. The security threat is what President Jammeh is doing to us here. 80M Gambian Dalasis wasted when our farmers are selling their nuts to Senegal?
