This paper has so far gathered adverse and concrete evidence which is emanating from the Gambian Embassy in Washington DC. This is in connection with the present cyber hackers who have unlawfully penetrated the personal data of the freedomnewspaper's editor Mr. Pa Nderry Mbai. The Embassy staff did not stop at hacking the freedomnewspaper's website they have now resorted to open threats in the form of bribing Gambians who are sympathetic to the APRC Government. Part of their scheme is meant to possibly end the life of Pa Nderry Mbai together with those working with the freedomnewspaper i.e. co-editors and subscribers in The Gambia and here in the USA.

Part of their scheme is meant to possibly end the life of Pa Nderry Mbai together with those working with the freedomnewspaper i.e. co-editors and subscribers in The Gambia and here in the USA.
As this piece is also meant to authenticate the above charges this paper is confident to say that today a mutual friend of Pa Nderry M’Bai name withheld for now conveyed wild threats directed to the Editor of this paper and its staffers by embassy staff. An official of the Gambian Mission in Washington DC, contacted one of the subscribers of the Freedom Newspaper with the promised that he the official was going to pay for air ticket and other personal expenses while in DC. Our source said he was concerned by the plot directed against this editor and the paper’s staffers by the embassy. The embassy we gathered is trying lure some Freedom Newspaper subscribers into being part of the “deadly scheme” against Mr. Mbai and team. The individual mentioned here above did not want to be mentioned in the open for fear of retribution from the embassy that “intends to hire services of 'hitman'. These type of individuals are what this paper will not cover because the Gambia Government is framing innocent contributors in Banjul for no reason whereas they hidden agents are playing double standards. This paper was able to establish facts against the Gambian Ambassador Dudu Bammy Jagne,Tijan Massaneh Ceesay(embassy staff), and Mr. Ebou Jallow (an affiliate of the Embassy). We gathered that Tijan Massaneh Ceesay called our subscriber residing here in the US, saying that he was sent by His Excellency The President of The Republic of The Gambia through the Gambian Ambassador HE Dudu Bammy Jagne. Mr. Ceesay therefore invited the said subscriber to the Gambian Embassy where they could study the scheme together before starting the pending operation. He further went on to say that the Embassy has offered to sponsor his air ticket, hotel lodging and other extra expenditures while traveling to and from DC. He also informed Mr. Mbai that Gambians in Cary North Carolina (names withheld for now) have also been contacted to go and survey the actual residence of Mr. Pa Nderry Mbai for reasons best known to Ambassador Jagne and the embassy staff. Ambassador Jagne and all those named in this piece are free to defend themselves from such charges as we at Freedom are not taking chances at all. A potential threat to take our lives has been discovered and we thought it imperative to inform the world about this sinister and cowardly plot directed at us.
Few days ago, the pro- government newspaper in The Gambia, the Daily Observer, maliciously published names of our valued subscribers on their paper, who Gambian police say they were wanted for associating themselves with this paper. The said list was not from this paper, but Jammeh's hired hackers, who rushed to endanger the lives of our innocent subscribers. The government has since then arrested dozens of Freedom Newspaper subscribers, who are still languishing in jail. The Observer invaded the privacies of our readers and we will take the necessary legal action to remedy the situation.
This paper has so far gathered concrete evidence against the Embassy which make it feel confident to sue the Gambia Government as soon as the editorial board finalises the last meeting with its legal team.
This paper will use whatever evidence at its disposal to sue The Gambian government and its agents hired to hack the Freedom Newspaper. While anticipating a good case, we are appealing to CPJ, Human Rights Watch, The State Department to take note of the fact that Mr. Ceesay and his co-workers have been quoted saying that they are “Immune to prosecution as diplomats.” In view of the latter we as legal residents under the protection of a decent democracy like the US Government would also want to ask the said authorities to utilise the laws of the land regardless of who is immune to prosecution or not. We are also appealing to the US Authorities via the State Department and the US Embassy in The Gambia to request for the Gambia government to lift the diplomatic immunity of the persons mentioned herein while we are gathering a case against them to appear before a federal court for committing serious crimes like hacking and attempted murder.
