Ambassador Bammy Jagne could be a possible Baba Jobe accomplice in "Blood diamond and gun running scandal"
Freedom Newspaper intercepts"Jagne's free duty waiver" letter which gave Jobe powers to bring containers in The Gambia free of charge and uninspected."

http://www.diplomatictraffic.com/image_upload/category_amb.asp?ID=80 Gambia's Ambassador to the United States Dodou Bami Jagne, was one of those who aided and abetted jailed Jarra MP and Majority Leader Baba K Jobe to defraud the State several millions of dalasis, a document intercepted from the Department of State for Finance and Economic Affairs unveiled. Jagne, who recently reduced himself  as " a pathological liar" with his failed attempts to smear the image the Freedom Newspaper, according to our findings was the brain behind the "free duty waiver" that was issued to the Youth Development Enterprise (YDE), a company once headed by Baba Jobe. Jagne according to Finance  Ministry officials  issued the said "free duty waivers" to jobe without the due approval of the authorities concerned. Baba Jobe said our source allegedly "bribed Jagne, some GPA and Customs staff" to import goods into the tiny West African country,at  free of charge.

Bammy Jagne was a personal friend of Baba Jobe. These were the same officials who benefited from Jobe's "kickbacks and political patronage. Thanks to Baba Jobe, Jagne's first sacking  was reversed. At the time Bammy served as permanent secretary at the Department of State for Finance and Economic Affairs. The Freedom Newspaper, challenges Jagne to dispute our report if he feels that his hands are cleaned.

Baba Jobe Bammy's errand father now in jail

The document we saw featured the signature of Bammy Jagne. Jange was quoted in this very document of saying that "YDE should not be subjected to any port charges." The free duty waiver was issued at a  time when "blood diamond and guns" were reportedly smuggled in the mono River Union through the Gambia. It would be recalled that the Gambia was ranked as a "safe heaven" for mafias and transit point for "blood diamonds and arms dealers."

Baba Jobe, during  a meeting with a Gambian student group called"NAPSA" some years ago clearly stated that "the said arms the UN talked about in their indictment were indeed brought to the country, thanks to the support of the government of the day." Our source who witnessed the meeting, currently studying in Cuba said Jobe told them that some of the arms were moved into the sub region in a bid to secure funds for the Jammeh government. This source is alive and can always attest to our reportage.

http://eltiempo.terra.com.co/inte/eucanada/noticias/IMAGEN/IMAGEN-2021281-0.jpg While Bammy Jagne is making "cheap and empty statements" devoid of the truth, we urge the United Nations to continue to dig into Baba Jobe's blood diamond case. Jobe was not the only person involved in this "shady deal" which ravaged Liberia and Sierra Leone. Bammy Jagne could be a possible accomplice since he issued "unauthorized duty waiver to Jobe" to carry out his criminal activities. There is no information available which says the National Assembly, the country's  law making body or cabinet okayed Jobe's free duty waiver. The said "free duty waiver" issued by Bammy Jange to YDE  was issued clandestinely and with the sole aim of extorting "kickbacks" from an indicted war criminal like Baba K Jobe.

During the Babagate economic crime trial, the defense requested for Jagne to be summoned to shed light on the said "free duty waiver" he issued to YDE, a company owned by President Jammeh, but the presiding judge M A Paul ,refused to entertain the defense's request. Justice Paul cited the issue of logistics, busy schedules among others to justify his denial. Paul knew very well that Jagne was bound to be embarrassed by the defense if he deared step his foot in court. In this write up we will reveal why Jagne was moved to the US as an Ambassador.

The Gambian government upon knowing the implications of keeping Jange in the country decided to move him to the US, as Ambassador. Even though Jagne never sought  the permission of Cabinet or the National Assembly to issue the said duty waiver to the YDE, state house sources hinted that the President was very instrumental in the said deal. This was the time when arms were trafficked into the country, said our source. Baba Jobe was widely feared by Ports and Customs agents. He cleared containers without being inspected. Local Port sources said nobody deared to go closer to the said containers, not to talk of enquiring its content. All these clandestine activities were possible thanks to Ambassador Bammy Jagne's "free duty waiver" issued to the YDE. Once these containers docked at the Ports, they were marked as "non inspection, immediate delivery." Jobe will walked into the GPA with his guards to clear the containers without being questioned by customs agents.Jagne is no doubt a well trained Rusian mafia. He lied to the nation when the Freedom Newspaper was hacked. Jagne and his accomplices such as lamin Sanyang went on jubilating in the embassy. It time to expose these criminals presiding our national affairs abroad. We have a lot of things about these people  in our files and we will share them with Gambians.

Jagne being a former pet errand boy of  Baba Jobe, thinks  that the best way he can save his job was to pledge his loyalty and allegiance to the former "Co President Bourr Jobe." Jobe used to summon them in his office to dictate to them how the Finance Ministry and the Central Bank should be administered. Baba Jobe is in jail, but his accomplices are still at large. The likes of Bammy Jagne, under a government "free of corruption" should had been extradited and tried for economic crimes and abuse of office. Jagne is not fit to be called an Ambassador, as there are host of corruption scandals hanging on his head.

http://www.laconscience.com/IMG/jpg/y.jpgIt was under Bammy's watch that our Central Bank and National treasury were ransacked by people calling themselves " close associates of President Jammeh." The illegal foreign exchange distribution is still fresh in our minds. Beside carrying his hand file, Bammy is nothing but a criminal in disguised. He is one of those who helped Yahya Jammeh to execute his "dirty and criminal activities both at home and abroad. Jagne don't deserve our respect and admiration. It is sad that a corrupt public official like Jagne, is representing our country in a decent and democratic country like America. The likes of Jagne are liabilities to our country and her people.
