Dear Ambassador Essa Bokarr Sey,
I'm reaching you as the Ambassador of The Gambia.
We offer a free service to teachers in The Gambia. The Geoseed Project (
http://www.geoseedproject.com/) is a non-profit grass-roots organization that stimulates the desire for learning in children (described below). The effectiveness of our work depends on directly reaching needy dedicated teachers through credible sources.
Based on your representation of The Gambia in the USA, I request you to recommend dedicated teachers in schools in the Upper River Division in The Gambia for our free service.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Ranga

Geoseed Project
The Geoseed Project is a non-profit volunteer organization based in Silicon Valley that inspires children in developing countries to pursue their educational interests. We mail back issues of the National Geographic Magazine (
http://www.ngm.com) free of charge to deserving teachers.
Education is the easiest path to achieve the basic human needs of food, clothing, shelter, health and security. Education begets education. Often, it only takes a one-time helping hand to stimulate children to educate themselves forever. We harness the natural curiosity of children to further their education.
We'd like to reach as many children in The Gambia with our limited resources. Since girls' education has a high payback to society, we're focusing on schools in rural Gambia where girls are enrolled. We are looking for teachers in such schools who cannot afford a regular subscription to the magazine.

Editor's note: We hope the relevant Gambian authorities will not try to politicize the said education project. We are merely disseminating information forwarded to our news room. We praised Ambassador Sey for his patriotism. He could have advised the said investor to turn his back from The Gambia, but he loved The Gambia and her people. We will not know who is who until the going get rough. Mr.Sey who is attached to the promotion of education in this very country, we are pleased to learn that he is engaged in behind the scene moves to help impoverished Gambians.
As an independent media outlet, we will publish stories from all shades of society. The Freedom Newspaper is here for all and sundry. Send your views to be heard. No political gimmicks at Freedom. Thanks....
