President oLaurent Gbagb a friend of President Jammeh an enemy of The Gambia.

President Laurent Gbagbo and President Yaya Jammeh's friendship has been under the radar for quite a while now. There were and there are still mouths in Banjul,Dakar,Bissau and Cape Verde whispering about this friendship. Dakar has congratulated President Jammeh after the AU but are they really glad about Gbagbo's visit to Banjul? After all the same line of friendship exists between Gbagbo and Dakar's main opposition leader Mr Amat Dansoho according to my source. This very friendship between Gbagbo and Dansoho made Dakar's Intelligence put him under constant surveillance.


He is still under surveillance according to my source. Of course Senegal and Bissau will not sit and watch President Jammeh invite Gbagbo without being monitored. Agents from these close neighbours are already in Banjul verifying what Gbagbo and Jammeh are upto. Gbagbo is not in the good books of many Presidents withing ECOWAS. He is a mercenary who uses rebels to achieve his goals. It is widely believed that Gbagbo's own mercenaries are plying the Abidjan/ Banjul route these days. These are elements some Presidents in Africa use to help them eliminate renowned politicians. They are usually hired to kill and then disappear back to the bush in Ivory Coast now that Charles Taylor is gone. Laurent Gbagbo's special invitation is not a surprise to me and my source. I have been discussing this with my source (a foreign diplomat) for weeks now. He has been proven right. President Jammeh never invites anyone to attend the July 22nd celebrations if he or she is not someone enjoying shady deals with him. The first July 22nd movement was honoured by Former President Jerry John Rawlings of Ghana,he was Jammeh's God father during those days. Now Jammeh is posing as a seasoned guide for Gbagbo.

According to the state house source I spoke to these days. He revealed that Jammeh is bragging all over the place saying he invited Gbagbo to educate him on how to handle his opponents(the other rebels fighting Gbagbo at the moment).

President Jammeh is tredding on very dangerous waters here. These Ivory Coast rebels are not as stupid as those rebels Jammeh is receiving from Binjona or Mayok. These are seasoned fighters and Intellectuals who can teach President Jammeh himself. Why not Jammeh asks Gbagbo why the French government destroyed his war planes a year or so ago?

 

The fear factor during and after the July 22nd celebrations near the Gambian opposition. First target could be Halifa Sallah.

President Jammeh,Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay,Neneh Macdol Gaye have very cunning ways of sending deadly signals out.

I spoke to a source today who made reference to two speeches that coincided on the same day,both refering to the electoral process and Halifa Sallah's letters. This source was confident that Ndondi Njie was fired because he started using his intellectual side when reading letters from NADD or newspaper articles concerning opposition parties. He was reported to President Jammeh by these three liars period. Infact this could be a blessing in disguise for Ndondi. However,when one looks at the way Neneh Macdol ended her interview with the BBC it sends bad signals. She could not confirm if Ndondi was going to face any challenges as a result of his sacking? This means Neneh is helping set the stage for a hiding snake. This snake is President Yaya Jammeh himself.

The same snake according to my source sent Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay to attack Halifa Sallah at a rally in the provinces.

The same FJC wanted to frame Halifa some months back accusing the man of being the mastermind behind those

youths she called assailants. FJC according to my source lied implying that she defended herself with a base ball bat?

The same FJC is lurking behind the scenes again trying all she can to portray Halifa as someone subversive. The only fear my source has is that Halifa is a target for President Jammeh. This same source said the APRC will be provoking more confrontations at polling stations only to be able to get Halifa and others working with him. According to this source as soon as any of these 'cooked' confrontations heats up the APRC will not hesitate to shoot Halifa,Darboe,Hamat,OJ or any key opposition figure within that area.

 

 

President Jammeh using other West African hitmen?

It has come to the attention of certain privileged sources that President Jammeh could hire hit men from other parts of West Africa to help his men do the 'dirty job' before,during and after the forthcoming general elections in The Gambia. My source said this to me..."Gambians like brushing things off because they are so peace loving. Please they should not take this one lightly.There is a reason why Jammeh invited Gbagbo. He is ready to hire this man's hitmen from the Jungle.."

Of course this same source I spoke to has always been the one revealing many facts from the state house. I am equally concerned,Halifa and others should never make the mistake of thinking that what we report is baseless. These are real stories that should not be brushed off. President Jammeh's case is still on despite his latest shameless attempts of trying to make noise about the Middle East Crisis.

His own case is about banditry at home. No one should be taken by surprise if and when President Jammeh and Aziz Tamba start using hitmen at home. President Jammeh is indeed an evil being that none of us should under estimate.
