WE SHALL NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY ENEMIES OF FREEDOM-LET MAM SAIT CEESAY AND OMAR FYE TRY US AND SEE!!!!!!

When I opened my official email address this morning, I was greeted by Bufaaleh’s report regarding a conspiracy between the State House in Banjul and Daily Observer’s Mam Sait Ceesay against the Freedom Newspaper, which is barely one month old. That Mam said of all Mam Sait, picked up his phone to call Omar Fye to inform him about our recent commentaries on the activities of Major Fye. A lot of hate conversation were said at that line chat, which we are privy of. Let them go ahead with their threats. The Freedom Newspaper Management will not be intimidated. We have sharpened our pens to expose the likes of Fye, Ceesay and their boss dictator Jammeh.

We want to thank Bufaaleh, for standing by us at this crucial moment of our nation’s fragile democracy. Bulfaaleh, could have kept the information to him/her self, but the mere fact he/she likes freedom decided to expose these enemies of freedom. Bufaaleh, we say “Arebraka, Arenjarama, Jerrijef” for passing such high classified phone conversation between Mam Sait and Omar Fye.

We are not the least surprised about the information Bulfaaleh, exposed. The same Mam Sait Ceesay, last year branded me and my former editorial group of a sister paper here in the United States, as “Gambian dissidents” bent on undermining Gambia’s peace and stability. Ceesay, went on name calling describing Pa Nderry as a “rubbish” editor. Ceesay is once again discussing the Freedom Newspaper with State House authorities.

We are resolute and will never be intimidated by “griot” journalist like Mam Sait Ceesay, who devoted his  precious time to undermine his own colleagues in the journalism profession. Mam, go ahead with your behind the scene moves to lie against a legitimate Newspaper like that of the Freedom Newspaper. You will woefully failed in your bid to undermine us.

The issues we reported about Omar Fye were factual. We must hasten to add that the preliminary revelations were just a tip of the iceberg. There are more revelations to come. Bufaaleh’s revelations had opened up a new page on Fye’s clandestine activities, which we will reveal God willing. We are waiting for their reaction. Banjul is too small to be used as a gossip centre.

If we can succeed in unveiling Jammeh’s bedside issues, will the likes of Fye and Ceesay escape our investigative skills? Bulfaaleh’s mail happens to first hit our screen , but as we piece up this editorial together, other well placed sources have just sent us an information about the activities of Omar Fye and Mam Sait Ceesay. As Bob Marley rightly puts it” Who God bless no one can curse him.” The Freedom Newspaper and its staffers are blessed by God. We are in good hands. With God’s guidance, we fear nothing.

The government of the day don’t need to be informed about what Freedom said. Their are special people at the NIA, who are assigned to monitor international press reports. Jammeh, himself browses our pages. This we know. Ceesay is engaging in useless venture. Instead of using his office to expose the maladministration taking place in the country, you want to foolishly pick on peace loving folks committed to the democratic goals. This is the height of hypocrisy. We rest our case.
