Horomsi:Has Jammeh hired mercenaries to kill opponents before elections?State Guard soldier exposes Jammeh/Abacha hired killer!!! Horomsi:Well, there
is this talk that the Jammeh government has hired some foreign
mercenaries to eliminate certain opponents ahead of the elections. This
report was revealed to me by somebody high in government.Whether true
or false, the reports are very disturbing to say the least. Why should
the government want to kill its opponents? For what? Who are these
foreign mercenaries to execute such dirty acts for Jammeh? The said
information was said to be a classified one. Well, thanks to our state
house source, it is being declassified. Each time, we report issues
about Jammeh, it turns out to be true. If our report is reliable or
not, the future will determine its truthfulness. We cannot sit on such a
sensitive information. We owe it to Gambians to expose enemies of
freedom in our country.
Jammeh got to be very, very careful in
the way he handles national matters. On April 10 of 2000, he uses his
security forces to kill students protesters. Over 14 kids were murdered
in cold blood in that incident, which was described as Gambia's darkest
day. Again, he is said to be planning to take more lives with certain
mercenaries on his payroll.
During Sani Abacha's regime, a
Nigerian hit man was hired to take the life of opposition leader
Ousainou Darboe on the day of the eve of the 1996 controversial
Presidential elections. Thanks to some state guards soldiers, who were
part of the delegation to bring the
said killer into the country, we were able to intercept such classified
state information. The plot to take Darboe's life was said to have been
reached in Nigeria. The said killer was Abacha's pet boy. He was said
to have been the brain behind many disappearances in Lagos.
Darboe's
sudden move to abandon his residence was viewed as a cowardly act, but
in reality the politician was posed to be killed if he had stayed at
his Kairaba Avenue, said the state house soldier. Jammeh and Abacha were
the brains behind the said plot to take the life of Ousainou Darboe.
Gambians will be shocked to learn about this, but this is a true story.
The said revelation is just the tip of the iceberg, as our source
hinted about other state organized crimes against the populace. It is
not yet clear who alerted Darboe about the said killer, but according
to our source the Abacha/Jammeh killer was in town to take the life of
Darboe.
The opposition leader, who suffered two Presidential
faked defeats was later quoted as saying that his life was under threat
and he therefore thought it imperative to seek refugee at the
Senegalese High Commission's office, which was next to his house.
Our
state house source warns the opposition and the media to be very
vigilant in days to come. The source hinted that there are some foreign
guards at the state house who are providing security for Jammeh."The
same people are assigned to monitor certain people in the country.
Jammeh's plan is to provoke the opposition to take to the streets so
that he can kill the people he lined up to be killed."said the source.
In
Africa, despots like Jammeh resorts to silencing his critics and
political opponents. They kill, maim and exiled critics. It is gathered
that over 2000 young Gambians were recruited into the army and the
police from 2005 to date.
President Jammeh is free to shed
light on the said report regarding the killer he and Abacha hired.
There are people in his government who are prepared to talk at this
hour. They give us information free of charge, as Bufaaleh calls it.
These are people who are pissed off with the system. Horomsi's job is to
publish these pieces in good faith. It is up to Jammeh to defend
himself. He will be held responsible for any blood bath in our
country. Jammeh should preserve the lives of our citizens. These
killings and planned killings should stop. | Posted on Monday, July 24, 2006 (Archive on Saturday, July 29, 2006) Posted by PNMBAI Contributed by PNMBAI
