Chei Nawec!
Dr Jammeh has scored a record on changing names of places, companies, streets and everything he inherited from PPP.
McCarthy square was changed to July 22nd square. The Lady Chilel Ferry changed to Kanilai.GUC Changed to NAWEC.
During the PPP era GUC was shattered into pieces by the suffering consumers. They called it Gambia Use Candles. The performance of GUC was so bad for years.GUC was no where to be seen so candles and hurricane lamps took over! This is one of the biting reasons Dr Jammeh used to take over power in 1994.
'Aha!' Wait a minute hear....when one considers the extreme.Jawara never took over the plant himself. His next of kins or close buddies were given the place to run but not him in person. Dr Jammeh the so-called macho man was heard and seen running around Banjul with a 'bidon' full of palm wine pouring it on two old generators These two old machines were payed for with money that was supposed to maintain power supply in The Gambia for a long time.He ordered them from the Netherlands with the help of Amadou Samba. Dr Jammeh did not stop there,he hired and fired so many people to run that place. From Bachy Baldeh to himself as the SOS energy sector.
Dr Jammeh thank you for being a 'dummy-expert' NAWEC has over taken GUC on this thorny path. Now It will be called Gambia use Wood!
How about that party which was postponed on Wednesday in Fajara?
NAWEC was the cause of it! How about the doctor who could not sterilize his syringes ont 27th day of January 2006? NAWEC was the cause of it!
How about the electrical engineer who was shocked in Bundung by an exposed wire? NAWEC was the cause of it!
And who is the SOS now? Dr.Yahya Abdul Aziz Junkung Jammeh.
Dr Jammeh! Chei Doctor! Chei doctor...Is this NAWEC or 'Naweh'? It is so bitter. Will Doctor Jammeh fire himself after failing the people?
'Bul faaleh' at Barra Terminal.
What a sunny day! Sellers running up and down.No smiles everybody was rushing to get 'deppaase'.Chei waaye 'deppaase'! English man calls it fish money...At Barra not every body could buy fish, even bonga was so expensive to buy.Oh! Oh! in the evening I went to Fort Bullen and then came back to watch GRTS. There was a man in 'kaftaans' talking about food self sufficiency in The Gambia? I wondered if biologists were right when they called fish food? A shop keeper kept on ringing these words into my ears..."aiwa maalo bu sew".He was selling a bag of broken rice at D800.00.Eight hundred dalasis. Isn't Barra part of The Gambia? Or is Kanilai in Space? My ears heard two versions.Barra selling rice at 800 and Kanilai selling it at 250? Is it right or might?
At Barra I saw kids rushing after a cocoa fruit like hungry squirrels. This is a place where food is sufficient?
Jola man says 'ow jakut!'.Jola man is right 'jakut' is wickedness.Who sells this rice in Kanilai? Dr Jammeh.Who rules Barra? Dr Jammeh.
Dr we say.."ow jakut waaye!"
'Bul Faaleh Yach Yassar'-no hope!
'Bul Faaleh' was sitting on a bench thinking about what next in his life? All of a sudden he recieved a call on his Africell cell phone. His child was seriously ill. 'Bulfaaleh' rushed his child to the RVH,where he could not speak to the Cuban doctor on duty because she spoke Spanish and pidgin English with a Cubano accent. 'Bulfaaleh' kept on listening to the endless complaints raining from the Cuban doctor's mouth. She was so concerned about what they do not have at the RVH.While hearing these bitter complaints a newspaper was left on a stool nearby. The head lines were praising Taiwan for helping the health sector. The Taiwanese presented a check to the department of health to help maintain the Cuban team? Isn't that too much begging.Dr Jammeh begging from South East Asia to the shores near Guantanamo Bay! In 1994 we heard him say...Self reliance and probity. At least Jawara used 'tesito'.If 'tesito' is bad how about 'temuto'?
'Bulfaaleh' could not stop reading the piece even whereas his kid was in a precarious condition. What a pity! Who is trying to provide for these decent people? Wonders never sieze!
Watch out for the next Panorama with.
