Freedom Newspaper sparks the fire,Immigration Boss is worried...
The enemies of the Jammeh government are those working for it not us who write what we intercept.When the freedom newspaper wrote something about the Immigration Department's activities,IE on how they issue our national identity cards to Casamance citizens,an emergency meeting was summoned at the state house.
I heard from someone who knows something about this meeting. She said the big man or Jammeh was not happy about what the Freedom Newspaper wrote. The operation at the immigration Department was tagged state secret. In that case the top notch guys near Jammeh did not really know how this secret was sent to Pa Nderry Mbai? It has caused layers of suspicion amongst them( the APRC).It is said that the immigration boss Mboob is so worried these days.
Why is the Immigration screening people at the border these days?
Orders from state house have directed the immigration boss to screen those crossing the borders in a very strict manner.The tips I received is that they are searching for Gambians like myself who are apparently coming in and going out of the country only to dig into state secrets. Then spread them outside. Probably under Jammeh state secret means falsifying documents to help aliens vote for him.No one is denying these people from claiming Gambian citizenship by resorting to the laws of the land.
The Gambian constitution has provisions guiding that.Why can't these Casamance people do so within the framework of our statute laws? What is stopping them from being transparent about this voter's card issue? No wonder Ousainou Darboe is asking if Jammeh signed a deal with the IEC.Two branches are helping Jammeh rule us by force.The IEC and Immigration.
It is interesting to see President Jammeh allow Casamance people receive our national documents under false pretense while trying to expel Gambian journalists by calling them foreigners in their own land.
