Proclaimed army officer say fugitive major Bajinka was assigned
by President Jammeh to take the lives of opposition leaders ahead of
the polls
The fall of Gambia's iron hand dictator President Yahya Jammeh is
invitable. The ship of state is sinking by the minute. Jammeh and his
cronies are crying for help at this hour. They live in fear and
suspicion. President Jammeh is making last minute rush to arrest people
he suspects of passing what he calls "classified information" to the
Freedom Newspaper.
Leaks from the State house say Captain Buba Jammeh,
a relative of the President Yahya Jammeh is currently in custody.
Captain Jammeh is accused of passing state secrets to the Freedom
Newspaper, which is a fat lie. This paper had never spoken to the said
Captain and we don't know who is Captain Jammeh in the first place. Some reports
have it that Captain Jammeh was between life and dead due to the
torture he suffered from the hands of the state guards led by Musa Jammeh
and Bobardeh. Family sources said Captain Jammeh has been missing for
the past two months. The state denied holding the Captain, but army
sources say Jammeh was being probed about his possible ties with the
Freedom Newspaper. President Jammeh should stop the witch hunting. Buba
Jammeh is innocent. He never spoke to the Editorial board members of
this leading paper. Jammeh is arresting the wrong people. He will be
shocked to learn that the people feeding us with information briefed
him on a daily basis on security, econimic and political issues. As
journalists, we will protect such sources no matter what. Despite the
provocations from Jammeh's camp, we thought it imperative to play it
cool at this hour. Jammeh will end up arresting his own wife one day,
as classified state secrets will be reported on line here at Freedom.
Let him go ahead with his arresting spree, but the truth must be
reported. We are well connected. Our sources dine with Jammeh. We can
publish on line the number of rooms at Jammeh's Kanilai villa and where
he sleeps. We know the people serving him food and the late evening
entertainers at Kanilai. The Freedom Newspaper is not physically
operating in the Gambia, but we have succeeded in rattling Jammeh's
cage. This is the paper giving Jammeh sleeepless nights. Jammeh reads
this paper on a daily basis to keep himself posted about happenings in
the Gambia. This paper cannot be cowed by Jammeh. Let him lie against
us. We are aware of the lies they had been circulating about the Freedom
Newspaper.
While Buba Jammeh's case is pending, a proclaimed soldier recently
emailed us sheding more light on Bajinka's case. Please read on.."People
need to know that Jammeh is getting more and more crazy this days and
he will be making a bomb shell soon .Jammeh is very much angry with
Bajinka's escape.The freedomnewspaper is right about Jammeh dispatching
dozens of cassamace rebels to Senegal and the were told to hunt down
Bajinka dead or alive.Bajinka where ever he is should be mindful of his surrounding and
were to go.The whole situation about Major Bajinka 's involvement in
the so called coup is unfounded.I am going to reveal little secrets
here and i hope Bajinka
can come out and clear the air sooner or later.The problem is Jammeh
hired some statehouse guards to go and killed some prominent
politicians and Bajinka told them no it is wrong to do that.Jammeh feel
anger about Bajinka's action and moved him to army headquarters.While Jammeh was contemplating what do next about Bajinks's challenging towards his authority,Bajinka
left for military course to Nigeria. Later,then the socalled coup
happened and jammeh sees it as a tool to finish Bajinka. All the
military and the Nia has cleared Bajinka in the coup but Jammeh
insisted .I will give u more information later."said the proclaimed
army officer's email.
The mail above was unedited. The writer says Bajinka was assigned to
take the lives of some prominent politicians in the Gambia. The writer
did not specify who these targeted politicians were and why the
government should kill its opponents. The opposition should be vigilant
these days. Who knows if Musa Jammeh will execute the said plot against
political opponents? The said writer seems to know a lot about Jammeh.
Most of the pieces he email us turned out to be true. Perhaps, his
revelations prompted Jammeh to hire hackers to hack the Freedom
Newspaper. Jammeh invaded our offices and is now paying for the price of being curious. The communications in our files were strickly confidential. It will take Jammeh decades to know those supplying us information. Perhaps, when he is taken to Mile Two, some of the loyal sources at Kanilai will come out in the open to say that they helped the Freedom Newspaper to expose Jammeh and his government. Count on us, this paper will protect you no matter what. We cherish and respect our sources. Without your support it would be difficult to expose such classified state secrets. We commend you for your loyality and patriotism.
President Jammeh should admit that he is failing as a leader. How come
that the Freedom Newspaper is able to intercept such highly classified
information. We even gathered that Jammeh at some point contempulated
charging us in absentia, but was told by some legal luminaries that
there was no such provisions under the constitution. He later resorted
to odering the police to arrest the subscribers of the Freedom Newspaper.
Meanwhile, photographs of the Freedom Newspaper editors delclared wanted by the state are in the hands of the police and border immigration officials. Despite the arrests, we are still exposing Jammeh's dirty leans in
public. We are unshakable Jammeh.
Our investigations reveal that Buba Jammeh widely known as hakily is
from Brikama town. Army spokesman Captain Gano a former Observer
freelance journalist should stop the lies. Gano is apparently denying
knowledge about the whereabouts of his comrade Captain Jammeh. Gano
should shut up if he is not ready to speak the truth. With or without
Gano, this paper can get information from the GAF head quarters. Gano
will be surprised to learn that we are in touch with people higher than
him. If his supriors are spilling the beans what is he waiting for? We
know that Public relations officers through the world will always try
to paint a postive image of their orgainisations. But in the case of
the Gambia, there shouldn't be any cover ups. Gano could as well be a
victim as far as Jammeh continues to be President. Speak the truth
Gano. Tell us if Captain Jammeh is killed by Jammeh's hit men. How can the police declare him wanted when he was arrested by the state guards? He was arrested and taken to the Mile Two Prisons. He was tortured nearly to death. Some reports even have it that Jammeh might have possibly died because of the torture he suffered from Jammeh's killers. Unless, Gano clears the air, speculations will continue to rife in days to come. If Captain Jammeh can be expose to such brutal torture what will stop the jugglers to take the lives of Freedom Newspaper subscribers? Journalist Pa Malick Mboob is said to be between life and and dead. He too was accused of passing information the Freedom Newspaper. None of these people have hands on the editorial content of this paper. Jammeh is just paranoid, period.
Former and present civil servants who served monster Jammeh should
speak out in the interest of the Gambia. Tell us your stories. Gambians
want to hear from you. You stand to be accused of aiding and abetting
dictator Jammeh if you fail to clear your names. This is the time to
expose Jammeh. We at the Freedom Newspaper will never shut our doors at
people willing to expose Jammeh. Jammeh can be best describe as
Gambia's hiv/aids. He is destroying the fabric of society in our
country and need to be exposed at all means. As promised, we have
