We are back online. As promised,we intend to spill the beans, since Jali Omar Fye is not behaving.His threats to deal with the editorial board of this paper sparked this swift reaction.We do know that Fye had recruited agents both within and outside The Gambia to spy the Freedom Newspaper.

We received unsolicited phone calls and emails from such agents bent on painting a negative picture of this leading and authoritative Newspaper. Such agents will be shocked as we have devised counter intelligence strategies to defuse their clandestine information gathering.

Omar Fye, is not to be trusted. He is a traitor with vicious intend. He was here with us, all of a sudden, he betrayed his colleagues in the struggle to regroup with a government he hated in the past. The likes of Omar, are hell bent on black mailing innocent folks overseas just to line up their pockets.

Close associates of Omar said ,Fye, had openly branded the staffers of this paper as dissidents bent on smearing the image of Jammeh and his government. Omar will wonder how we got such an information, but these are people very close to corridors of power in Banjul.

We have no course to doubt our sources, as they are very reliable. The word dissident suits Omar Fye, better, who was spotted criss crossing the African sub region in recent years. Can Omar tell us his visits to Spain and Dakar? Omar, you are touching people, who knows a lot about your clandestine activities.

We are not dissidents. We believe in the might of the pen and not self aggression as being bandit in town by Jammeh syphocants like you. Our commitment to democracy and the rule of law prompted the setting up of  the Freedom Newspaper, which is today rattling the seat of power in Banjul. We are not afraid to be sued or bullied. We put our lives on the line to ensure that The Gambia is not mortgaged by greedy folks like Omar Fye.

Your assertion that you know who is Pa Nderry M’Bai is a lie and a mere figment of your own imagination. I never met you in my life. I feel too good to know or associate myself with dubious person like Omar Fye.

We associate ourselves with people with substance, integrity and and credibility. Not the likes of Jali Omar, who play his “Korra” every morning to sing the praises of butcher Jammeh. With or without Omar Fye, the Freedom Newspaper will intrude the inner circles of Jammeh’s government. We have loyal sources on the ground, who kept us posted about Jammeh’s moves. These sources are more close to Jammeh than Omar Fye.

The least we expected from Omar Fye was to seat and enjoy his “ALMOUDOU SALARY” and leave the Freedom Newspaper alone. Yahya Jammeh, will one day sack and imprison you. His bait is working fine on you. It is a matter of time for him to discard you, as he did with Maffi Jarju and Dr.Janneh. These folks were very loyal to Jammeh.What happened later? Jammeh, ended up firing them and later filed false charges against them. Omar, think twice and stop the devil game you are playing.

You are a disgraced to the Fyens. This was not the legacy left by your ancestors. The secret prayers to curse or "Dangka or , Halatko" will not work on us. We are blessed by God. God is on our side, as we told one of your errand boys. Go head with your "Fatiya" prayers to curse us.We shall not be intimidated. We rest our case.
