The Gambia at the Circus!-Commentary The Gambia at the Circus!

We are once again at the circus; the circus that conjoined the major
highways to the cities of our future. The last time we arrived here,
there were six ways exiting the circus, now it is a three ways circus,
thanks to the reconstruction done by NADD. The choice is once again
ours; we decide which city we want to migrate to. My only advice, this
time, is lets not get lost again. For the past thirteen years we have
been here twice, and each time we had chosen to go back to that
dreadful city of dictatorship, under the headship of that monster;
Mayor James Juhu Jammeh. This year, we are back again. It is no longer
a six ways circus, but a three ways circus. Although, most of us would
have preferred a two ways circus, nonetheless, a three ways is not much
of confusion. The three ways are: the APRC back-way, which lead us to
the city of Dictatorship; the PDOIS/NDAM or NADD highway, which lead us
to the city of Socialism; and the UDP/NRP Broadway, that lead us to the
city of democracy. Gambians, which future city is best for us to
migrate to; will soon be our decision? It is not just my call, but if
it had been, I would have chosen the city of democracy for all Gambians.

Abraham Lincoln on the 19th of November 1863, stated, “we here highly
resolve that the dead shall not have died in vain, that this nation,
under god, shall have a new birth of freedom; and that government of
the people, by the people, and for the people shall not perish from
earth”.
A city with such principles as the guiding mandate of its leadership is
the city we need to migrate to. For the past thirteen years our people
have been dying in vain, in that heinous city of dictatorship. The
monster had made us a prey, which he feeds on. He had butchered, fried,
boiled, roasted and even baked our people. We cannot continue to be the
palatable dishes’ for this monster. Lets leave this monster to starve
to death, within the next five years, for we are about to migrate. We
are about to choose the exit from the circus that lead us to the
UDP/NRP Broadway, which will take us to the city, were the government
is of the people, by the people, and for the people. Gambians; this is
the city of dreams!
For the City of socialism, since no one has ever been there, after its
been renamed as NADD, reports about the city are very blurred. Its
mayor is called Afro Sallah, he is proclaimed to be in the service of
humanity. Therefore, one can only imagine that he will be more humane
than the monster James of the city of dictatorship. However, the major
problems with the city of socialism are its bylaws. These are reported
to be based on the notion of equality, but no one knows the extent of
such equality. Sir DK Jawara, once stated that the equality in the city
means if you go there, your wife no longer become yours, as every man
of the city is equal with you to her. And if you are a woman, it is
more or less the same that is; you are equal with every other woman to
your husband.
These are the few authentic knowledge, we have about the city of
socialism. We know for definite that the position of leadership is not
elected, as in a democratic city; it is done by negotiations and
selections. So that if the leader Afro Sallah, get ill, he can either
transfer power to his brother Raul Sallah, like in Cuba, or to some
members of the group, that are more equal than the others; animal farm.
The socialists abhor the ideals of democracy, which is the majority
rule. This is manifested from this tirade of Lenin, the father of
socialism, against the notion of majority rule.
“No, democracy is not identical with majority rule. Democracy is a
state which recognizes the subjection of minority to the majority, that
is, an organization for the systematic use of force by one class
against the other, by one part of the population against another”.
Lenin 1919.
I hope and pray the Gambia did not come to the circus, from the city of
dictatorship, only to take a left turn to the city Socialism. I hope we
make the right choice, since I don’t want to commit suicide. For I so
loved my wife, that I would rather die than to share her with others.
This is indeed the fantasy of NADD, but they shall never succeed.
Remember, how these socialists infiltrated NADD! They came with no
party, no votes and ended up sharing everything that others have.
Gambians be warned if you have a wife or husband that you loved so
dearly, then vote against the migration to the socialist city. And
don’t bother reading Comrade Foday Samateh’s article on the freedom
newspaper. Gambians be also warned against the returning back to, our
old city of dictatorship and its monster James Juhu Jammeh. We must
all be patriotic for out country and choose the UDP/NRP Broadway that
will take us to the city of democracy. This is where freedom is and
this is the city of our dreams.
Vote UDP/NRP Alliance, not NADD or APRC
