President Jammeh calls for the Prosecution of So Colley and his men

                         By  An Insider

The station officer of the Sibanor police station Abdoulie Colley  and some of his men are currently detained at an undisclosed location following a failed operation to arrest a renowned marabout in Foni Wassadu called one Mr. Hydara, the Freedom Newspaper can authoritatively report. SO Colley and his men were assigned by President Jammeh to effect the arrest of the Marabout, who was wanted in connection with "state matters", but the marabout disappeared during the cause of his arrest. When Colley and his men first arrived at his residence, they communicated to Marabout Hydara that he was wanted for questioning, but the sheriff Islamic scholar pleaded with the officers to give him time to pray before he leaves and in the process, he took onto his hills, the Freedom Newspaper gathered.

News of the Marabout's disappearance angered the head of state who ordered for the arrest of SO Colley  and his men. It is not clear at this  hour why the marabout was being trailed by the police, but sources close to the police say the President is increasingly living in fear these days. Reports have it that Jammeh is uncertain about his tenure as a President.
It would be recalled that shortly after the March so called abortive coup, some marabouts in the tiny West African country were arrested by the police. Some of these marabouts appeared on TV and claimed that they provided spiritual forecast or "Lesstiharr" for the alleged coupists. One of the Marabouts said he  discovered in his findings that President Jammeh's government was on the verge of collapsing. The Marabout even testified that he saw Jammeh in one of his dreams riding a bicycle, which according to the Marabout was a sign of down fall as a leader.

The Freedom Newspaper was told that the Foni Wassadu Marabout is currently settling at a neighboring country. Shortly after his disappearance a manhunt search was spearheaded by the police without success. They went back to Banjul only to tell President Jammeh that the Marabout escaped. Jammeh is said to have ordered for the prosecution of the officers for failing to apprehend the Marabout. Sources say the said most of the predictions made by the said Marabout turns out to be true and his escape caused a big shake up in the police. President Jammeh is said to be very angry about  the news of the marabout's escape.

Sources claimed that a deal was reached for the marabout's escape, as IGP Ousman Sonko and army Chief of staff Lang Tombong Tamba would have been implicated by the Islamic scholar either directly or indirectly if the said marabout was put behind bars. It's gathered that both Sonko and Tamba had been spotted in the said Marabout's house in the recent time seeking for prayers. This information was passed to us by local villagers. Villagers said the marabout receives different clients and most whom happens to be people very close to the President.

The Gambia is currently faced by political and economic uncertainties. The President entertains the belief that most of his close confidants were not loyal to him. He changes his guards on a regular basis and soldiers suspected of being disloyal were usually given the sack or charged with treason. Already, some top army officers including some civilians are standing trial on treason charges.

Station officer Abdoulie Colley was born in Casamance Senegal. Sources say the SO settled into the West African country when he was pretty young, where he attended his primary and secondary education. It is gathered that the Sibarnor police is currently engulfed by anxiety and worry as local police are trying to exonerate themselves from the Marabout's escape. Some of the officers blamed Colley and his  men of being responsible for the marabout's escape.

                           Jungler Solomon Jammeh exposed!

Solomon Jammeh was a lieutenant when he was recruited into Jammeh's junglers. This group kill and maim Gambians perceived to be anti government. Solomon executed a lot of atrocities for his boss Jammeh while at the state house. He smuggled arms into the country and took part on the junglers covert operations. Solomon was also engaged in internal fight with senior army officers posted at the state house. He and Francisco Caso make up stories against people they had a beef with. Jammeh was listening to these people more than the senior officers of the army. He go by whatever Caso or Solomon tells him. There is one interesting thing about the junglers, most those who served this hit squad were betrayed in the end. They were either killed or jailed. The lucky ones escaped. Solomon later fall out with his boss Jammeh and was moved to Farafenni army  Barracks. He is still being observed by Jammeh.

                         Jungler BaiLamin  Sanyang died!

The late BaiLamin Sanyang was one of those wild and rude junglers at the state house. It is often said that when people died, we should say good things about them, but in the case of  Sanyang, we thought that we owe it to Gambians to expose his dirty part. He allowed to be used by President Jammeh over the years. His ending was very sad  indeed. BaiLamin's demise was blamed to spiritual work at the time. Just like in the case of Jammeh's inevitable demise which is coming soon. Jammeh offended his own marabouts who helped him to be what he is today. From Cherno Bougal and local marabouts in the country. Jammeh humiliated these marabouts in the open by accusing them of trying to overthrow him. The marabouts will no doubt curse him in their daily prayers. For jungler Bailamin  Sanyang, he was said to have tortured a watchman at the Department of state for Lands. Sanyang was said to have spotted a lady at the said Ministry. He concluded that the watchman was having an affair with the lady. He decided to take  the law into his own hands and beat the hell out of the poor watchman. People at the time even speculated about the death of the watchman in view of the torture he suffered. As usual, Sanyang was arrested by his fellow junglers and later set free. The arrest was meant to calm the situation and also to tell concerned families that justice will take its course on the said case. But justice never came. The man was seen working on the streets freely without been taken to court. Later on Bamilai Sanyang was hit by serious illness. He tried all kinds of medication, but could not make it. Unfortunately for him, he died. News later  broke out into the state house that the watchman must have applied some "Juju" craft on the late BaiLamin  Sanyang. BaiLamin's  demise never changed the rude and arrogant attitude of the junglers. They got wilder by the minute and the hour. More revelations are coming soon.
