One
of the most important things for me was to wait for the APRC manifesto
as we are heading towards the 2006/2007 Presidential and Parliamentary
elections. Discouraging as our predictions are, there is one thing that
makes me feel so inspired, that is, the fact that APRC is digging its
own grave.
President Jammeh did not
only hijack the 2006/2007 he has been successfully hijacking everything
on governance from the 22nd day of July 1994 to date. His most sincere
desire is to see through the future of The Gambia with a
Jammeh-dynasty. The man therefore envisaged everything he is doing now
well before these hard moments we are cruising through came. Yaya
Jammeh then,now Yahya Jammeh saw through the thick layers of betrayal
while getting ready to wash our nation's tearful face with acidic
residue. Morally he has so far succeeded in eroding the honour and
integrity of some of our sons and daughters. On the other side he has
failed flat on the ground because there are those who will never vote
for this decadence even if the sky was to be mixed with the ground.
A tipsy or high President Jammeh in action. A one time weed smoker Yaya
then used the expertise of intellectuals like Koro Ceesay,Dominic Mendy
to help his shameless skull prepare what is today being called the
vision 2020. Those who worked tirelessly whilst preparing this famous
text saw a bright future for The Gambia. They had every right to stay
positive and remain inspired,because Yaya showed them a cold face of
innocence.
He presented himself as a
weeping lamb that was there to save the skins of the other weeping
lambs. He was not! Yaya was a wild wolf in lamb clothing. He had a long
dagger under his fake skin. His teeth were white but his heart was
bleeding inside with bad blood and hatred. Who was Yaya's first victim
with that wicked dagger? Ousman Koro Ceesay. He used Koro,educated
himself with only the basics therefore chose to stop there. His first
thirst for power was quenched by Koro's innocent blood. He killed a
Gambian matyr and an African warrior! Jammeh was bent on finding a path
that could leave his body and remains at the state house. This very
internal aspiration and strong desire is constantly conducting his
vampire feelings everyday. Koro was killed because of his conviction
and love for mother Africa. No one missed it when Koro kept on saying
we could make it if Jammeh accepts being another Amadou Tumani Toure.
This is what kept Koro going on and on with strong hope and positive
dreams. He never expected that the venom from a cobra turned a weeping
lamb was about to strike. Koro used these positive dreams to an extend
that he opened Carter Center's gates to Yaya Jammeh. He did so and
there are living witnesses who saw him in action at the Carter Center
in Georgia. Yaya the adder betrayed Carter center in 1995 when he
decided to roast Koro Ceesay to ashes. 11 years after the gruesome
murder of Ceesay the same shameless Yaya wanted to hijack Carter
Center's decency through his verbous newspaper cum the stinking garbage
can of modern journalism called the daily observer. Never will the
positive dreams of good sons and daughters be derailed by callous
clowns. When shallow minds steal decent thought they turn it into
mischief and decadence.
This is why someone said this before...."reading a theory or a vision is one thing,but understanding it is another thing.."
Thats
true! Koro,Dominic and others never intended to rape The Gambia during
those days. They came in to help a team of uncouth and unexposed
soldiers. This was not new in African politics because it is the same
window that brought Alpha Oumar Konare on the center stage. This is the
same thread that makes people like Halifa Sallah,Sidia Jatta,Ousainou
Darboe come in and try their quota.
This
is the same reason that brought Dr Sedat Jobe back to the cradle of
Banjul politics. This is why others like Sidi Sanneh and Tijan Sallah
are interested in what affects The Gambia. This is why intellectuals
like Sering Omar Faye at the world bank disowned the decadence from the
on set. Koro if he was not roasted by Yaya the vampire might have lived
and grown older and wiser. This is a big loss for The Gambia our
homeland. Intellectuals are sidelined within a field of incompetence.
Too bad and sad for a poor country thats yearning to grow above abject
poverty. This same thread attempted the life of another Intellectual Mr
Ousman Sillah.
This same vampire
feeling butchered Deyda without any mercy! Today we are seeing the same
Yaya inherit the good ideas of Koro,copy them and then paste them on
his hate state house site saying it is a party manifesto? Manifesto or
a shameless manifestation of his callous being?
Such
decadence does not deserve any further justification. Taking on
a powerful and shamelessly person is part of worshipping the lord. Yaya
Jammeh's style causes tearful faces and sorrowful families. Most of
those who are weeping today started building their pillars when Yaya
was picking 'kabaa nombo' fruits near the Dobong stream. There are
Gambians who are trying to mask a deadly adder with false smiles. No
one can photocopy brains. Feelings are cannot be painted,feelings are
internal metabolic reactions that no one can ever eject with
pretensions for a long time. The reality on the ground today is that
our feelings are linked whether we agree in the open or not does not
count. No sane or sound mind seriously wants to see this decadence
being painted on a shameless manifesto continue. No one! DOWN WITH
THEFT AND THUGGERY! DOWN WITH A SYSTEM WHERE PRETENSION SUPERSEDES
REALITY!
Today Yaya Jammeh pastes the nucleus of the vision 2020 after he roasted one of its architects.
Here
is the golden statement that was touched by the tender hands of King
Koro Ceesay. Read it and tell us if it matches Yaya Jammeh's rule?
" "to transform The Gambia into a financial centre, a tourist paradise,
a trading export-oriented agricultural and manufacturing nation,
thriving on free market policies and a vibrant private sector, sustained by a
well-educated, trained, skilled, healthy, self-reliant and enterprising population
and guaranteeing a well-balanced eco-system and a decent standard of living
for one and all under a system of government based on the consent of the
citizenry".
