By A Concerned Gambian In Kansas City

Following our recent story, in which it was reported that US Army Reservist Gheran Sengore, threatens to take the life our Editor Pa Nderry MBai, a concerned Gambian residing in Kansas City, has issued a rejoinder. “Pa Nderry,I was reading through your paper and saw an editorial claiming Gheran senghore threatened your life .I also noticed alot of inaccuracies. For instance, Gheran Senghore is not a Database administrator at sprint he is a security guard working for securitas ( A rent a cop) I walk pass him daily at work. He was a prison guard at the Leavenworth prison and was recently fired. He never had a degree from any university and only went to school for six months according to sources and quit because he could not handle it.  He was also a journalist at the Daily Observer .He went to the army reserve to get his permanent green card because the lady he married for his green card got a divorce and the army will help guarantee you get your papers. He is not a U.S citizen by any means yet.

In a rather surprising move today, The Gambia Police Force promoted over 540 men and women of the Force, the Freedom Newspaper can reveal. A majority of the police officers promoted were said to be from the Jolla ethnic group. Inspector General of police Ben Jammeh says the promotions were based on merit and longevity of service. The mass promotion of these officers, came in the wake of low staff moral in the Force. Many officers resort to corrupt practices, just to earn a living.

Hereunder are three different speeches from three different people(two alive one dead). These speeches mark another fresh day in our memories with reference to the past activities of the Jammeh regime. This paper is reproducing these words  verbatim so that those who knew will remember and those who are yet to know will  see why Isatou Njie Saidy is being called a snake. Read her speech and Yahya's after the bloody incident of April 11th 2000 then see the similarities between Isatou and Jammeh as far as power is at play. There are other speeches or utterances from both of them to be relayed and analysed here in the coming weeks.
