On the 18^th of February 1965 many Gambians, mostly from the greater Banjul area and some representatives from different parts of the country gathered to celebrate what we are told to be our freedom to decide our own destiny. This was the result of wars and different forms of political resistance against our British colonizers.

DK JAWARA IS A FUNNY CHARACTER!!!

Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara, is indeed a funny character. Imagine Jawara at his age saying that he is willing to serve at any official capacity? What message is Jawara sending to his host and former followers? We have no problem with Jawara’s come back, but the reality is that the old man is a spent force. He had outlived his usefulness. What we need now is a new breed of politicians and not the likes of Jawara who had contributed to the problems we have found ourselves today. The same Jawara is dining with Jammeh day in day out.

The death of the former Serb Leader dictator Slobodan Milosevic, should serve as an eye opener to other dictators like Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh. Death has no boundary and whoever believes that life is permanent, must be living in a dream world. No one with his right mind will celebrate the death of a fellow human being. But the truth be told, Milosevic was a dictator of the highest order. He has answered to God’s calling, which we are all waiting for.

A source in Guinea Conakry, is working very hard these days to furnish us with photographs of President Jammeh’s Manson in that country, which he Jammeh built for his in laws. The source who exchanged series of emails with this paper says God willing he will send us the pictures of Jammeh’s Guinean house. This news tip is not meant to scare the dictatorship back home, but as promised we will do whatever it takes to trace Jammeh’s ill gotten wealth.
