The way forward: Party Alliance- A viable Option for NADD & UDP!!!
Friday, March 10, 2006 (188 reads)

          BY Demba Baldeh, Seattle Washington

Amid all these political trauma, we must stay focus and continue to brainstorm for a viable alternative to take back the state house and restore good governance and sanity in Gambian politics.Despite all the wrangling and party politics, we all agree that the Jammeh government is a total failure and betrayal of the Gambian people. We further agree that neither UDP nor NADD can single handedly beat APRC at the polls. This is simply because votes will be divided among three or possibly four parties instead of two. We also agree that the Gambian people are the biggest losers should the APRC remain another decade in office. Therefore, with all our differences considered, what can possibly be done to salvage the innocent people from another wave of systematic return to monarchy and politics of domination and enslavement?

NRP/UDP ALLIANCE  SHOULD

BE REVISITED!!!!!

SIR DAWDA'S RETURN IS A CURSE FOR THE GAMBIA!!!!
Friday, March 10, 2006 (298 reads)

     EDITORIAL

There is doubt in our mind that Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara’s integrity is put to question these days. Jawara has not only betrayed his colleagues in the struggle, but  the beliefs and priciples of the PPP Party, the oldest political party in The Gambia. The mere fact that Jawara, has went so low to scccum to Jammeh’s dirty politics to the deteriment of his own party goes to show that  these old guards are nothing but opportunists.

NADD discord and possible re-integration

          NADD discord and possible re-integration

It  could be suicidal to venture to analyze the current political events in the Gambia, particularly the scramble that led to the dis-integration of NADD but, I think we must try to take a more indept look at the causes of these unwarranted squabbles that gave birth to this unfortunate event. Being a foolish optimist, I believe that, since all five parties agreed to the MOU of NADD, the possibility of returning to those guiding principles are still there. The only problem is, in what form.

UDP'S DARBOE IN ACTION!!!
