Gambia’s dictator President Yahya Jammeh has declared a war against peace loving Gambians. The recent arrest, torture, extra judicial killings and disappearance of civilians will no doubt lead to a full blown political crisis in this impoverished West African country. Almost all families in The Gambia are affected in Jammeh’s self imposed rule. Despite his growing unpopularity, shameless Jammeh is forcing his way out , no matter what it takes. Wronged families and their loved ones will never forgive this monster hell bent on destroying the fabric of society in our country.

African Union asked to consider delaying Banjul summit after two weeks with no word of illegally-held journalists Reporters Without Borders today called on the African Union to send a mediator to Banjul to assess whether it would be appropriate to postpone the AU summit due to take place there on 1-2 July in view of the fact that the Gambian authorities have been illegally holding two newspaper executives for the past two weeks.

I promise I will not reveal the guy's name but I will write all that he sent to me. President Jammeh cannot still realize that his own enemies are those he uses to help him kill innocent people.Those who torture people for Jammeh are the ones who will torture him one day. This very source told me so much about why Kujabi is being sent to hell while he is still alive.

Press Release in Commemoration of the April 10 and 11, 2000 Student Massacre in The Gambia:
April 10 and 11, 2000 marks one of the darkest days in The Gambia. A peaceful demonstration participated by thousands of unarmed, innocent students to express their grievances in the murder of a fellow student and rape of an other, were confronted by security forces who shot and killed 14 students and a Red cross volunteer in broad daylight. Several other students sustained serious injuries and some of them have been maimed for life.

When President Jammeh came back from Mauritania fuming,he promised to set an example to scrape any intension of overthrowing his regime now or later.President Jammeh has since been so adamant in teaching us lessons that we as Gambians will never forget.What are the objectives of Jammeh's lesson plans? The Senegalese government has recalled its Ambassador from the Republic of The Gambia, following revelations made by Gambian coup suspects that the Senegalese envoy was in touch with coup suspect Tamsir Jasseh. Jasseh, a former immigration Director in his testimony before the GRTS said Ambassador Njie hooked him with a senior official of the Senegalese intelligence. Concerned by the government’s claims, sources hinted that the Wade government has recalled its envoy to find out what actually transpired.

Unconfirmed reports say the newly appointed Gambia’s army Chief of Staff Lang Tombong Tamba, has been arrested. Details are sketchy about the circumstances surrounding Tamba’s arrest, but sources say the army chief was reported to have turned down his recent appointment, which seems to have angered the President. Tamba was redeployed on numerous occasions following alleged shake ups within the State guards in the past.

The security situation in The Gambia is becoming scary day by the day. Reports have it that some of the detainees died in custody. The government has not cleared the air on this disturbing state of affairs. Reporter Lamin Ceesay, has been closely monitoring developments and he now reports:
The talk of the town yesterday was that Alieu Jobe, the former Accountant General and an alleged coupist was said to have died. Prior to his alleged death, Alieu Jobe was in a very critical conditions and was taken to MRC for treatment but was refused by the MRC authorities for treatment. This was done to hide Alieu's poor health conditions from the general public.

Your recent change of heart towards your former errand boys, seem to suggest that the Ruling APRC is doomed for good. The very people who used to coordinate your torture chambers are today feared dead. Mr. President, as the saying goes “what goes around comes around.” Daba Marenah, Lie Kujabi and some of the detained military chiefs, we are told used to execute dirty errands on your behalf. That the same Yahya Jammeh will rebelled against his own agents beat our imagination.
