Mr. President, the people of Banjul are crying blood once again. They said the country’s economy is sick. A folk told me yesterday that “KULWACHNEH DEKABI NEHNA, NAHNALA”, meaning anybody who tells you that The Gambia is nice must be lying to you. Indeed. This folk told me that there is growing political and economic uncertainty in the country.

BANJUL, THE GAMBIA-Leaks from the State House in Banjul hinted that President Yahya Jammeh, had extended his invitation to Lamin Kitti Jabang, former Foreign Minister under the PPP administration to join his government in the spirit of National Reconciliation. The State House insider intimated that Mr.Jabang, had been a frequent visitor at the State House and was promised with a government job by the President if he was willing to team up with his regime to steer the affairs of the state.

Prior to the July 22^ND Coup, Yahya Jammeh, was dating a Jolla girl in Latri Kunda Yirrinaya. This lady in the person of Mba Sambou, was engaged in hair platting or breeding if you like. She was assigned to the then first Lady Njamai Mboge and Chillen. Having worked at the State House, Jammeh was tasked with picking Mba Sambou, each time she was needed at the State villa in Banjul.
