Fajara Barracks Diary:Lang Tombong Tamba played a role on Daba, Lowe,Bah,Ceesay and Corr's killing!!!
Colonel Tamba says Daba Marena refuses to answer his phone when called over the March alleged coup
A State House Close Protection officer assigned to Jammeh says Daba and others were buried in mass graves.

The late Daba Marena with the Green Kafataan next to Colonel Ndure Cham
Army Chief of Staff Colonel Lang Tombong Tamba, was said to have leaked
the March abortive coup, which led to the escape of his successor
Colonel Ndure Cham. Lang played a crucial role on the arrest and
execution of Gambia's intelligence chief Daba Marena, LT.Ebrima
Lowe,SGT Malafi Corr,Warrant officer Alpha Bah and Lt.Alieu Ceesay.
President Yaya Jammeh was in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania when
Lang Tombong claimed to have made repeated phone calls to reach Daba
Marena on his roaming cellular phone without success. Daba never
picked up the phone, Tamba told the President in a phone conversation
on that fateful day. Lang told Jammeh that some army officers led by
Ndure Cham were on the verge of overthrowing his government and should
quickly cut short his trip. Jammeh reacted without delay by returning
home. Lang and Jammeh spent few minutes on the phone strategising the
way to bring the situation under control. While in Mauritania, panic
stricken President Jammeh confronted Daba Marena. He accused him of
concealing a coup plot against his government and vowed to deal with
him if the mutineers were arrested. Daba became speechless as Jammeh
refused to entertain any conversation with him. Daba at the time could
not prove his innocence as Jammeh will not listen to him. President
lJammeh later landed at the Banjul International Airport with Mauritanian
commandos who escorted him to Banjul. For President Jammeh he believed
that Daba was an accomplice since he Marena failed to pick up Lang
Tombong's phone call. Lang Tombong Tamba claimed that he learned about
the coup at the eleven hour and was trying to inform Daba about it, but
without success. Lang told the President that he made phone calls to
some NIA officials but was surprised to notice
that the NIA were not aware of the alleged coup which was in an advance
stage. Lang said none of the NIA officers were in the picture at the
time. Jammeh was very shocked by Lang's revelations.

Who knows if Satana will come for Jammeh one day? IGP Sonko a real serial killer!!! Saturday, August 26, 2006 (974 reads)
By A True Gambian
Police Inspector General
Ousman Sonko was among the team that killed LT.Almamo Manneh with the
help of Musa Jammeh. Sonko fooled Almamo that he came to see him over
the issues they discussed regarding Jammeh. As Almamo steps out of the
state house, he was ambused by the junglers and taken to a place and
killed. Corporal Dumbuya was chased and killed by the state guards. A
car called Santana came to pick Dumbuya up, but the car could not start
when the junglers cranked it. Dumbuya was sleeping at the guard room at
the time. He later took on to his hills. Dumbuya used to be a guard
commander at Denton Bridge, but the day in question he was detailed to
stay at the state house main gate. At the state house, when the President
said he dont want to see people who plotted against him means, such
people should be killed. This was what happened to Almamo, Daba Marena
and others. They were all killed. Who knows if the said Satana car will one day come for Jammeh. Ask state guards soldiers they know Satana. It is an old car. Whenever, it packed at the state house, soldiers start panicking. Santana is not ordinary.

PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'-Jammeh's orderly sent to meet Malian DONSOS traditional hit men. Friday, August 25, 2006 (829 reads)
Who is Bakary Camara and why he was sent to Mali to hire local hit men or Malian DONSOS or hunters. Bakary
Camara alias Kunta Kinteh is originally from a village called Kerr
Ardho in the Baddibus. Bakary's paternal roots are directly connected
to Mali. In The Gambia families like Bakary's are known as the Bambaras
or Tilibonkas. Bakary speaks Malian Bambara very well because he was
born there and then moved to The Gambia at an early age with his
parents. His parents came to the Gambia as what we locally call
'Surgahs'. These are seasonal farmers who travel from Mali to either
Senegal or The Gambia searching for fertile zones and hosts so as to
cultivate or till the land for survival. This is how Bakary Camara
started as a young lad under parents who came to this country searching
for greener pastures. Bakary Camara and SOS Yankuba Touray share the
same lineage as people born by parents who migrated from Mali. SOS
Yankuba Touray speaks Bambara too but not as good as Bakary does.
Yankuba Touray thanks to OB Conateh or Fisco Conateh the man of the
fishing trawlers and foot ball teams was able to 'Banjulnise' himself.
This makes Yankuba a Banjulian with styles.

Is Vice President Isatou Njie Saidy 'Takaful' Islamic Insurance Sharia Laws lurking behind Friday, August 25, 2006 (593 reads)
By our International Affairs Correspondent
As
our binoculars are zooming on VP Isatou Njie Saidy these days we will
never allow her so-called hypocritical humility plunge our country into
the hands of unknown 'stalkers'.She
came to parliament with an Insurance Policy called 'Takaful' basically
this is a new dimension of financial policies linked to the laws of
Islam. How these Islamic laws are being fixed in the Gambian
constitution is a worrisome thing to say the least. Already we have a
confusing constitution, let alone if we allow a cold stooge like VP Njie
Saidy add these excerpts from old Sharia texts on it.The word 'Sharia'
has been featuring on the text we found out from the google earth link
and other facts sheets on so many occasions. Exactly as some observers
said,VP Njie Saidy and her employer should clarify the meaning of this
traditional arabic word ie 'Takaful' when before amending our laws. The
explanation she shamelessly gave centered around what obtains in The
Gambia but not how these things reached her desk. We are also very much
interested in knowing the names and positions of the members of the
task force that she said designed what she brought before parliament.

Freedom Newspaper Mail Bag:What our readers say today!!! Friday, August 25, 2006 (345 reads)
Siaka Saidyleigh, United Kingdom
For
one, I thought Isatou Njie Saidy is a traditional humble Gambian with
all the attributes that be fit her to rise to the office of the vice
president no my conscience got it all wrong. What does this woman take
us for?She thinks the rest of us are so gullible that we would not know
her double standard and her smear campaign to put a wool over eyes.Njie
Saidy is the most dangerous character in yaya jammehs government. When
cameras are on her she would put a very humble and innocent face giving
an impression to the other side of the political divide that she is not
part of the state sponsored oppression and terrorism what a fool she
is.You cannot be part of a regime that taunts and oppressed its
opponent and yet still vindicate your self as whiter than white.I
applaud pa Nderry for exposing her as for too long this scumbag have
been playing our minds and it is high time we send a clear message to
veep Njie Saidy that she will not be speared for a second to face
crimes against humanity for her role in aiding and abetting the
dictatoship in Banjul. She is got an impression that she will be okay
whenever there is a regime change failing to realise how her snicky and
hypocritical actions is driving us mad. Believe
it or not the amount of sleaze, deception, and syncism at the heart of
the APRC government is master minded by Njie saidy.

PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh' Sirifo Samsudeen (DINO)Hydara,OC Colley-SCARY DEEP SECRETS CAUSE ARRESTS. Friday, August 25, 2006 (1787 reads)

man is the son of the late Wassadou Sirifo a famous marabout who passed
away some years back. The legend surrounding the late Wassadou Sirifo
is known to almost every Gambian particularly those who can recall the
1981 coup d'etat. The mastermind of the coup Mr Kukoie Samba Sanyang's
father was a follower of the late marabout. This brought Kukoie himself
into direct contact with the Wassadou Siriff Kunda. It is said that
they helped prepare Kukoie for everything he was capable of doing as a
maverick "political mercenary" within West Africa and beyond. So many
stories have been attributed to the powers these Sirifos possess.

A LETTER TO PRESIDENT YAHYA A JJ JAMMEH-THE GAMBIA WILL STAY-Ambassador Sey!! Thursday, August 24, 2006 (608 reads)
HE DR YAHYA A JJ JAMMEH PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE GAMBIA OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT NO.1 MARINA PARADE BANJUL THE GAMBIA WEST AFRICA. Your Exellency, A LETTER TO PRESIDENT YAHYA A JJ JAMMEH-THE GAMBIA WILL STAY. Mr
President, This is a letter coming from somewhere. It contains words.
These words are neither dogmas nor are they swords they are a product
of thought. They are from some where because the writer has taken a
position as a living being. My position is meant to identify a spot
within this huge plateau called history. History can sometimes be
useful or useless for us as participants. At the same time I am
confident to say,Participation is not the same as calculation. Indeed
wisdom has dictated that calculation should always precede
participation. The success or failure of any leadership can never be
absolute, because life itself is not fair. This is why accademists say
exams are also never fair. Life as a whole is an endless line of
activities within time, therefore any animate or inanimate thing that
exists must demise one day.

NADD: PRESENT THE REFORM AGENDA-Commentary Thursday, August 24, 2006 (249 reads)
NADD: PRESENT THE REFORM AGENDA
By Musa Camara
It is indisputable that the National Alliance for Democracy and Development
(NADD) is, legally and by all other interpretations, the major opposition
political party in The Gambia. It is also the only opposition political
party in the National Assembly. Its agenda for the country has been
immortalized in the historic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
A key objective of NADD is to institutionalize a two five-year
constitutional term limit any president can serve. And to strengthen the
legitimacy of the ballot, NADD plans also to re-instate the amended
requirement of more than fifty percent majority to win the presidential
elections. The majority of the people would agree that these, among other
plans in the reform agenda, are necessary democratic tools to safeguard
against self-perpetuation of presidents in office, thereby avoid the
inherent dangers that come with it.
