PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'-NAWEC,FUND RAISING,CRUDE OIL SAGA-Maba and Mamburay..
Saturday, October 28, 2006 (730 reads)

President Jammeh scared of checks and balances shuns former close buddies.
NAWEC,ELECTIONS FUNDING.
Now that Mamburay Njie also has started tasting the bitter pills of President Jammeh there are some of his sympathisers talking aloud. He also has some of those he wronged in the past fuming in rage ready to pounce on him. These days Mamburay Njie should lie low and wait for the worse part of the hidden infighting within Banjul and Serekunda.
This is why he was being warned to stop what he was doing in the past but these goons never learn their lessons. Mamburay a special envoy of APRC Candidate Mr Yahya Jammeh before the Presidential elections-to Taiwan,Gabon,Thailand and other undisclosed locations. Mr Njie was sent by his former boss  President Jammeh to these destinations as a special envoy to raise funds for the man's re-election. Njie first rushed to his former place Taiwan where he calls his second home because he has been there as Ambassador during the peak days of Jammeh's "cash-diplomacy". Mr Njie it is reported came back with a package that left smiles on Jammeh's face for days.

Breaking News:Gambia's President Faults The War on Terror-As He Lashes The West!
Wednesday, October 25, 2006 (946 reads)

Gambia's iron hand dictator President Yahya Jammeh has implored on Muslims to stand up and resist any form of oppression in the name of terrorism. The President in a televised speech said many outrageous criminal activities were being committed across the globe in the name of Islam and so called war on terrorism. The Gambian leader who refrained from naming names in his speech told the nation that Muslims are duty bound to defend their religion at all cost. President Jammeh's speech has been a subject of discussion across the country. Many viewed his move as a direct provocation against Washington and its allies tackling terror at this hour. Since the suspension of the Gambia from the US Millennium Challenge Account, the Gambian leader seems to have developed a hatred against the West particularly Washington. Below is the full text of Jammeh's speech. Please read on....

F
ellow Gambians, due to recent dynamics in the international arena, our religion has come to the forefront of current world affairs and has dominated the political situation. In many parts of the world, outrageous criminal offences are being committed in the name of Islam and also in the so called "war on terror" at the expense of Muslims and our Noble religion Islam. Muslims should stop the slaughter of Muslims worldwide under whatever pretext. We must all stand up and defend our noble religion and live by its teachings so that all of humanity can live in harmony, peace and mutual respect. We must fight against Stereotyping and be what we are! muslims pure and simple living by the teachings of the Holy Quran.Fellow Gambians, the non Muslims should also live by the teachings of their religion and foster Peace and love for humanity and stop waging a futile war against Muslims in General and Islam in particular; as this is also partly responsible for the carnage and human tragedy that we are witnessing today. Insulting Islam and trying to humiliate Muslims would not serve them any useful purpose. If anything, it make this world more dangerous as Muslims are duty bound to defend their faith and dignity at any cost.

Horomsi:Did Jammeh Collapsed On Koriteh Day? Jammeh's relative say the President was Okay!

Horomsi:Did Jammeh Collapsed On Koriteh Day? Jammeh's relative say the President was Okay!

Has President Yahya Jammeh collapsed shortly after the Monday Koriteh prayers? Was he ill? What's going on at the State House? The whole country is talking again. Some said Jammeh was hit by a sudden illness. Some said the man collapsed at the palace. The rumour was just wild. I dare print what I heard here for ethical reasons. I don't know who are these people spreading the said rumour about Jammeh's ailing health. The state house webmaster also contributed to the said rumour by failing to publish Jammeh's Ramadan speech. The state house website has not been updated for days, which is very unusual. The Daily Observer site is also down. I personally contacted a brother of President Jammeh, but he told me that Jilanka was alive and okay. But this is not enough. We need Jammeh to come out in the public view and say something. We all know how Jammeh uses Koriteh to settle old scores with his opponents. Horomsi is reporting what he heard in the streets of Banjul. These reports are not good news anyway. If it 's really true that President Jammeh is okay health wise the state house should issue a statement to dispel this wild rumour in town.  President Jammeh is bound to develop depression problem as he is confronted with a lot of pressing state matters. He has not only betrayed his colleagues he pioneered the coup with but had also spilled a lot of blood in a span of 12 years.

RECYCLING OF CIVIL SERVANTS.
Wednesday, October 25, 2006 (635 reads)

                By TownCrier

Dear Mr. Editor,

Towncrier decided to wait until now to express yet another opinion. Yahya Jammeh is no fool but its the Gambian people who don't seem to get it. We don't learn our life lessons well . So Yahya has every right to football us.Yahya is a Con-Artist and its about time we Gambians know this.Yahya has recycled civil servants like used soda cans and still others are offering themselves to be grilled. It's like integrity is dead here in Gambia. People no longer look at what will happen to them tomorrow but rather they look at monetary rewards.

Breaking News:APRC Divided Amidist Cabinet Reshuffle-Party Bigwigs Want Jammeh to Reverse Decision on the sacking of Jahumpa, Taal and Sussan!

                      By Staff Writer Justice Sam
Following the recent cabinet reshuffle, which resulted in the dropping of four ministers, some Banjulians are lobbying for the President to reverse his decision to send Balla Gaba Jahumpa, Bai Taal and Sussan Waffa Ogoo packing, well placed sources at the heart of Jammeh's government told the Freedom Newspaper today. The delegation mainly APRC big wigs want President Jammeh to consider rehiring the dismissed former ministers, sources hinted. Balla Jahumpa, Bai Taal and Sussan all hailed from Banjul and their recent removal according to my source is creating a big rift in the APRC. Sources added that the APRC delegation were not happy with the President's decision and as such have decided to meet with the head of state in private to register their disapproval against his decision. According to leaks from the state house, the President is apparently figuring out what line of action he is going to take to satisfy the aggrieved Banjulians.
