Lebanese Contractor On The Run!!
Hezbollah Fighters in Gambia Raising Funds to Attack Western Countries!!
By Staff Writer Ousman Sarr, Banjul.
Graphic details are emerging regarding the Gam-Petroleum deal, which was recently uncovered by the Freedom Newspaper. Spectrum Group Gambia, under the leadership of Muhammed Bashi and President Yahya Jammeh had received millions of dollars worth of oil gift from Iran. Like other African Nations, benefiting from the Iranian oil gift, The Gambian Government too had been receiving oil gift from Iran. Democratic nations like Senegal, usually report financial or material assistance they received from Iran and other Arab countries. But in the case of the Gambia, the authorities are not transparent, when it comes to matters relating to big projects like this one. The Gambian authorities hired foreign Nationals to run dirty errands for them. Companies like Spectrum Group, which have ties with former blood diamond dealers, had volunteered to be used for such money laundering schemes. Funds derived from the said oil gifts run into the pockets of corrupt Government officials, most importantly the President. These funds could have been used to advance the nation’s ailing economy, but these shameless souls are only concerned about their wellbeing and nothing else.

Editorial: Shame On Subversive Groups!! Let Give Chance To Democracy! Monday, October 22, 2007 (2001 reads)
There are so many clandestine movements, these days in The Gambia. Most of these Movements are operating underground. Very few people are brave enough to be identified with such organizations. They claimed to be working on liberating our oppressed people. Yet, they are afraid to come out in the open. They dispatched statements, without signing for it. We call such people cowards. They want to effect change and yet they don’t want to do what it takes to effect a change. True warriors, account for their activities. They take pride for what they do.

Retired Captain Eduward Singhatey seen jogging on SeneGambia High Way
By Intel Officer M Jammeh
The other day I saw retired Captain Edward Singhatey jogging along the Senegambia High way. Singahtey is fit and well. There is no sign of frustration on Edward’s face. He is a happy man, going about his normal life. He is a longtime friend of mine. As soon as he saw me we exchanged greetings. “ Sumaraka Nakam?” Meaning how are you my junior brother? I responded cool bro. He proceeded with his jogging exercise. In the meantime, his brother Colonel Peter Singhatey is in Ireland reading mechanical engineering. He is bid cautious about the way he does things. He minds a great deal about the people he talked to these days. Honourable Suku Singhateh is Edu’s friend. They dine and do things together. I met him at Suku’s house on numerous occasions. We have lunch together. When the news emerged that Edu has been fired, Suku too was worried. He thought that he was going to be fired. His relationship with Edu is no secret to the average Banjul man. The two had family ties. Speaker Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay was not happy about the close ties between the two.
