Micheal Scales Assures Halifa Sallah Supporters

Dear Mr. Editor,

Here we go again?  My e/mail and phone have been clogged over my mention of Halifa Sallah and the rebuke from Samba Baldeh. What the majority are asking is why should I appear disrespectful to Mr.Sallah, when for the last three years I have speaking of him only in the highest and most considerate terms? This is, as we British would say..."A storm in a tea cup" But also as we say..."every cloud has a silver lining" I must admit to my own arrogance and intransigence, when reading Mr. Sallah's repost to Editor Mbai's  written words, predominantly in connection to the NADD editorial.

Security Analysis: Assignment For The NIA: Define OPERATION 11/27?

Can Anyone Decode OPERATION 11/27 For Me?

Unless You Are A Member, You Wouldn’t Know The Answer

Today, we start our intelligence lectures by posing the following questions to the National Intelligence Agency. First, and foremost define OPERATION 11/27 for us?  What is OPERATION 11/27?  What is the intelligence code answer for the said question?  Who are behind the said operation? What is their security strength?  Who stands to lose, or gain from OPERATION 11/27?  Can someone help me with answers to these questions? The only person who has answer to the above question(s) is Numo Kujabi, the Director General of the NIA. Gomez, the seasoned intelligence Director does not know the answer to the said question(s).  I doubt if President Jammeh himself knows the answer(s).  This is strictly intelligence. You got to be part of this operation to know the answer(s).

Scales Told To Mind His Business!!!

"Michael Scales - the Gambia needs genuine debate about its state of affairs today not un-necessary character assassination”

Scales Told To Mind His Business

By Samba Baldeh

I think everyone that reads the Pa Nderry Mbaye's Freedom newspaper knows that he has made a lot of improvements and has also raised a lot of issues that are of national (Gambia) importance. At the same time there have been some postings that you just wonder why. But just like FOX News and MSNBC almost never see face to face, every brand has its own style agenda and approach and I think Pa needs a big applause for what he does. That being said I think it was a good thing to raise the issue of NADD; where I thing he may have missed some of the points was when he did not first try and have an interview with the person he accused of illegally/unconstitutionally leading/representing NADD. If he did neither him nor Halifa has mentioned it so far. Also I think before alleging anything, he should have put his concerns first and wait for a response. The other thing I think could have been done was for him to write to the NADD leadership and ask for clarifications on what he deem wrong. I just wanted to throw that out there...
