The latest noise being caused by the APRC in The Gambia is fine with me and those who admire the art of politics.Sure this is  progress.Ask me why? Because Yaya Jammeh is exposing his immaturity at a faster rate. From the time Yaya went to Dakar some three months back to now we have witnessed unprecedented moves within his camp.

COMPARING JAMMEH WITH EDI AMEN-THE MEDALS ISSUED TO ZENEB JAMMEH AND YAHYA’S MOTHER A TRUE SIGN OF DICTATORSHIP !!!!!
Wednesday, February 22, 2006 (412 reads)

                                    EDITORIAL

It is time for Gambians to start comparing President Yahya Jammeh, with his late brother dictator Edi Amen. The two shared the same characteristics in terms of governance style. Amen was said to be eating human flesh, unlike Jammeh who is using his office to kill and maim his opponents. Despite the growing unpopularity of his demising government, Jammeh is making late hour rushes to decorate his loved ones with National medals. Those who benefited from the national honor includes his mother, wife and so called military chiefs.

An appraisal of a democratic opposition strategy-A READER'S POINT OF VIEW!!!!!
Wednesday, February 22, 2006 (260 reads)

                                BY Xibaar Network

I believe  most of us have accepted the each others right to self-determination and association as a part and parcel of our struggle for the democratic transformation of the indidual Gambians and the nation as an entity. Some of these party leaders that made up the NADD leadership were reluctant to join the Alliance from the onset. They were virtually dragged into it by their respective executives and since they are the leaders of their parties, they had to follow the wishes of the majority in their

executive committees.

IS PRESIDENT YAHYA JAMMEH A GAMBIAN? PART TWO-MORE REVELATIONS TO COME!!!!
Tuesday, February 21, 2006 (390 reads)

                              BY BOLONG SANNEH

When Jammeh, came to power in July of 1994, he decided to disband the National Security Services (NSS) which doubted his citizenship. In order, to avoid Gambians challenging his citizenship, he hurriedly tampered with the constitution to suit his own selfish interest. He knew at the time that the old constitution, which he overthrew was not in his favor.

JAMMEH'S SECOND NAME IS CORRUPTION-WE TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT THE GROWING OFFICIAL CORRUPTION IN THE GAMBIA!!!!!
Monday, February 20, 2006 (313 reads)

                                EDITORIAL

Corruption is now deep rooted in Jammeh’s government. Government workers will tell you that “this country is hard and if the President” is stealing who am I not to solicit bribes. They go to work with empty pockets, but by business close, they go home with couple of hundreds of dalasis. Those behind such dubious activities are handling key government positions. The Department of State for Lands is said to be another place for official corruption. These officials will not issue lease to land owners unless they are given some couple of thousands to forward lease files to the Minister.

Over the years questions have been lingering in the minds of Gambians regarding the citizenship of Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh. Jammeh, himself claimed that he was born and raised in The Gambia, despite skepticism raised about his citizenship. Critics say he and his parents migrated into the tiny West African country, during his tender age. That Jammeh, was born in the Southern Province of Cassamance.

PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'-Why June and July before october 2006?
Monday, February 20, 2006 (287 reads)

June 2006 is a special target for President Jammeh. It is the month when Gambians expect African heads of state in Banjul. It is also the same month President Jammeh targets to host the Roots home coming festival once again in Kanilai. These events worth a lot for Jammeh.Sure this is why he took it upon himself to start what he has always hated ie talking 'nicely'? with the opposition.Obasanjo told Jammeh to be mindful of what is going on between him and his opponents if he wants to host the event in June. Alright...President Jammeh has June.July,August,September before the actual presidential elections. This is going to be Jammeh's hottest campaign period.
