Breaking News:Gambia's Police Chief says Major Badjie who was linked to Ghanaian Killings is still in Gambia
Saturday, November 24, 2007 (1351 reads)

By Saikouba Jadama, Police Head Quarters Banjul

Dear Editor,
This is just to clarify that Major Ousman Badje is not the fugitive Bajie who is now in Canada. He is alive and well in the Gambia. He is now with the Army Training School.
Its Lt Badjie who is in Canada. Lt Badjie was the officer in charged of the the Kanilai farms and he and the late Musa Jammeh stole the dictators money. Both were arrested and detained and later Badjie absconded to Senegal and later Canada.
The Ousman Badjie involved in the massacre is a Major from Sibanor and former ADC to the dictator and Commander of the State Guards. He had some differences with his boss and who asked for his transfer to the Fajara Barracks at the Training School.
That Major Ousman Badjie is the elder brother to the fake Commissioner of Police called Jesus Badjie, a criminal by all standards, who will reveal police operations to thieves and 419 operators any time the police want to arrest them.
You can see the jola connection here.

Breaking News:The Big Interview:"Senegalese President Abdoulie Wade Grooming his son Karim Wade as his successor." Reveals Journalist Mboup!
Friday, November 23, 2007 (753 reads)

President Abdoulie Wade of Senegal has been accused of grooming his son Karim Wade to succeed him. The accusations were made by Veteran Senegalese Journalist and renowned Broadcaster Souleymane Mboup. Mr. Mboup was speaking in an Exclusive Interview With the US Based Freedom Newspaper. Mr.Mboup also accuses President Wade of trying to enforce what he calls” Monarchial rule” in the former French Colony by allegedly grooming his son as his successor. Mr.Mboup who is residing in the United States, argues that “Senegal is not a Monarch and any attempt on the side of President Wade and the powers that be to impose Karim Wade to Senegalese would be greeted with strong resistance.” Mboup also lamented about President Wade’s recent move to meddle into the affairs of Senegal’s National Assembly mattes to the point of firing Speaker Macky Sall, whose only crime according to Mr.Mboup was to probe Wade’s son Karim Wade on an alleged embezzlement of public funds. Mboup says the sacking of Sall was unconstitutional. “Economically speaking, that is absolutely wrong. It’s politically incorrect. Cutting salaries is not the solution to Senegal’s problem. Commodity prices are going up. Electricity bills are also going up. Loaf of bread is becoming more and more expensive. The rice is Expensive . They are happy in their mind, in their Government, but the Senegalese population are far from being happy. Abdoulie Wade wants to sack the Speaker of Parliament, which is unconstitutional. He never followed the set rule for the removal of a Speaker. He asked all the MPS to sign a Petition. Some signed the petition, while others refused to sign it. The Speaker merely summoned Wade’s son Karim Wade to testify before the House on matters relating to embezzlement of funds. The constitution gave powers to the Speaker to summon Wade’s son. Wade was so mad with the Speaker’s decision. Wade wants to impose his son the Senegalese people as his successor. And that’s politically incorrect for a democracy like Senegal. President Wade’s son Karim Wade is not fit to succeed his son. He lacks the knowledge, charisma, and political wisdom to succeed his father. Senegal is not a Monarch. President Wade should know that.” says Mr.Mboup. Below is part one of the interview we had with Mr.Mboup. Please read on……..

“Ghanaian Killers In The Gambia Should Face Justice” Says Briton National

………..The Gambia has a duty to vomit out the killers in their midst .

By Michael Scales, UK

It is very difficult to watch a loved one in constant pain and turmoil. Such is the state of my beloved Gambia .So many friends without jobs or hope of leaving to find food and some few crumbs from the tables of the rich countries .The news of so many dying so tragically by the cruel fate of being in the wrong place at the wrong time is hard to take . It is bad enough ending life by illness or old age, but to die at the hands of fellow Africans ,alone and in the dark crying for Gods help surely is a sound that must haunt the killers of the helpless people ,whose only crime was hunger and poverty .It is surely right that countries such as those protected by the Commonwealth of Nations should remain outraged at the senseless killing of over 50 Ecowas citizens .It is also right that Gambians should ask the question of there Government , as to why so many are driven onto unsafe boats to the mercy of the perilous seas . I have asked this question before...but I will ask it again....How much is an Africans life worth ?

Breaking News:The Big Interview:UDP'S Saihou Mballow Speaks! "Yahya Jammeh should be charged with crime against Humanity."
Wednesday, November 21, 2007 (1013 reads)

“Jammeh’s 13 year rule is an insult to Gambians. No body had ever expected that a peaceful country like the Gambia, a country regarded as Africa’s supermarket, would be turned into a failed state. Economically, we are nowhere. Politically, The Gambia under Jammeh is a joke. This country suffered greatly in the hands of Jammeh and his co thugs. No development, no political stability, no political freedoms. In short, Jammeh brought hardship and political unrest in The Gambia. The country had been completely destroyed by these criminals turned rulers. People are starving. You must be very lucky to have three square meal in The Gambia today. There is economic destitution everywhere. This type of hunger had never happened in the history of the Gambia. Jammeh is not the solution to our country’s problems. He is rather a stumbling block to our nation’s peace, development and co-existence. Gambia’s future is bleak as far as Yahya Jammeh continues to be our President. Jammeh should gracefully resign and handover himself to the International Court of Justice before it’s too late. He is a liability to The Gambia and her people. We don’t need a criminal President. Jammeh has committed a lot of human rights violations since coming to power. We need the report on the murder of Former Finance Minister Ousman Koro Ceesay. We want to know the people who killed Koro Ceesay. We are also interested to see the killers of 14 Gambian student demonstrators to face justice. We are also interested in justice on Journalist Deyda Hydaras murder case. Unless, these heinous crimes are addressed, we would not rest. We shall continue to demand for justice. “These were the exact words of the Coordinator of Gambia’s main Opposition Group in the United States, Saihou Mballow. Mr.Mballow a former Parliamentary Candidate for Jimara Constituency also urges the International Community to help expedite ongoing moves to arraign Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh before the International Court of Justice. Mr. Mballow speaking in an Exclusive Interview with the Freedom Newspaper commented on the recently released Commonwealth Initiative Report, which indicted Interior Secretary of State Ousman Sonko, Former Chief of Staff Colonel Ndure Cham and Major Momodou Badjie. The outspoken politician strongly denounces the actions of the above named individuals, whom he accused of committing genocidal act. Mr.Mballow also describes the Gambia not only as a failed state, but a country where gross human rights violations are committed on a daily basis. He uses the interview to disassociate his Organization from MFDC USA ,saying “We have no ties with the said Movement. Our Organization don’t subscribe to subversive activities. We believe in the promotion of democracy and political freedoms.” Below is the full text of the interview we had with Mr.Mballow. Please read on……

Charge Or Set Free Fatou Jaw Manneh-High Court Judge Yamoawa Declares!!

Justice Yamoawa says there is no charges Against Fatou Jaw Manneh at the Moment

By John Jammeh

Yamowa of the High Court in Banjul today informed the Gambian state to either file fresh charges against the US based Gambian Journalist Fatou Jaw Manneh or set her free. The presiding judge never minces her feelings about the way the Gambian state handles the said case. The judge informed a packed court room in Banjul that she was at loss as to what was before her desk, as the said case had suffered unnecessary foot dragging on the site of the prosecution.
