"This is my vision for Africa. We all have allies in the West but they exploit us. The three countries are one people, major languages of the countries are spoken by all three countries and more.. We are the same people. I want the sub region to get out of poverty. The West does not want to see three countries work together they will separate them. We are the least developed with no mineral resources, but we can be rich leaving the others behind. We need to work harder. Political leaders can quarrel but you the heads of armies cannot or else there would be turmoil, many innocent people would die prematurely. Gambia has no interest in helping fight in any country, you have role to promote in society.” Jammeh went on to point accusing finger to the West for being “hell bent on undermining the peace of developing nations.”

Daily Observer Sales Went Down Drastically- Reveals Observer Insiders
MD Dida Halaki Accused Of Corruption And Sexual Harassment!!
“ This paper’s future is bleak. As long as Dida Halaki, continues to be the Manager and Editor-in-chief of the Observer, nothing will work here. He does not have the ability and the know how to move this paper to higher heights. Halaki is self-centered. He’s not a team player. He gave out responsibilities without allowing Editors and Managers to do their job right. Ebrima Jaw Manneh and Pa Malick Faye are just there as caretakers. Halaki treats them anyhow he wants. He is creating all these positions just to cover his corrupt practices. In reality, Halaki is using our young ones to cover his economic crimes against the Daily Observer Company. I’m a Management Member and I know what I’m talking about. Halaki is using the Observer to enrich himself. He is not better than our former boss Saja Taal. Taal was at least bringing editorial quality into the paper, unlike Halaki, whose main objective is to milk the paper’s ailing budget.” said the Observer Management Member.
By Samba Mboob, Banjul.

I’m sorry for President Jammeh that African leaders never attended the Independence-say Michael Scales
Dear Mr.Editor,
I felt supremely sorry for President Jammeh at the vacant seats left for those African leaders, who did not attend Yesterday's Independence Day celebrations. The life of any political leader..these days is both lonely and incredibly stressful. His speech was eloquent, but somewhat dull. It appeared to me, to be the words of a very tired man.

Captain Kanteh Fights Back, As He Denies Tribalism Charges!!
Tumani, grab a life and face the real world
By RTD Captain Kanteh
Dear Editor,
I read Mr Tumani Manneh`s diatribe in your widely read On-line paper, describing me as tribalist and a coward. First, it is worth indicating that the character behind such an outrageous claim is quite familiar to me no matter how much he tries to change his pseudo- name on-line. The writer is from a chieftain clan that saw the demise of their monopoly or influence on power in that locality, and therefore blame it on me for having allegedly taken part in the 22 July take over. A few years ago, I had placed him in his right position when he constantly attacked me for no reason other his desire for revenge, for the lost of the family fame and fortune. He used to call himself a descendent of a traditional warrior-king. But I bet his xxxx, he lives in the fantasy world.
