“ I Have No Ties With Mai Fatty’s GMC Party.”-Alhagie Ceesay Tells The Freedom Newspaper!!!
…..IEC Chairman Mustapha Carrol Says Alhagie Ceesay is Part Of The GMC Party Executive.
…..Questions Raised over GMC’S Legitimacy!!!!
By Staff Writer Bolong Jammeh, Banjul
Even though the Independent Electoral Commission, the nation’s main electioneering body identified him as the new spokesman for The Gambia Moral Party (GMC), Alhagie Ceesay is distancing himself from Mai Fatty’s party, saying that he has no ties with the said political establishment. Ceesay’s denial, followed numerous enquiries received by the Freedom Newspaper, regarding the composition of the GMC party Executive Membership. The GMC party, under the leadership of Gambian Barrister Mai Fatty, is not willing to share the names of the party’s Executive, even though this paper had in the recent past contacted them via email to help release the names of the individuals behind Gambia’s newest opposition party. The GMC’S silence raises more doubts in the minds of Gambians, regarding the legitimacy of their party, thus leading to speculations that the GMC is another “ BOGUS GHOST.”party formed to collect funds from unsuspecting donors. Gambians are reacting cautiously about the birth of the GMC party. Many here say unless Fatty and his partners assured the public that the GMC is not a fraudulent party, questions regarding the party’s legitimacy shall continue to rife.

THE FUTURE: Innocent Fatou, still more hope Sunday, February 08, 2009 (180 reads)
By The Democrat(2)(1)[1].jpg)
Today, it has ended for young Fatim. Who will compare a private industry to Jammeh’s Government. He is yet to be done with his nonsense of hiring and firing. As of the appointment of former SOS Fatim Badjie-Janneh, So called Professor Jammeh said that he will appoint whoever he wants to appoint as Secretary of State. The so-called Committee in the National Assembly responsible for investigating and conducting a background check on public appoitment are not doing their job. Who dares to speak? None of them because the King of the Gambia Government, will get them fired thereby overriding what is enshrined in our constitution. But Fatim is good and a patriotic Gambian.
