Horomsi:Murder Convict Batch Faye Escapes from jail! Horomsi visits Mile Two Prison!
Wednesday, June 20, 2007 (1413 reads)

Horomsi: Murder convict Batch Faye, has gone missing. He was reported missing from his prison cell. A nationwide Man hunt to trace the convict proved futile. During a visit to the Mile Two Prison, I was told by a local warden how Batch Faye was helped to escape from jail by some prison officials. Batch Faye who is believed to be in Dakar at this hour, was jailed for the murder of Njok Malick, a personal friend of Faye. David Colley’s  troubles with the state was partly blamed to the escape of Batch Faye. President Jammeh should get ready. My prison diary had damaging information and if exposed Jammeh would commit suicide.

UNAIDS/WHO can go to hell fire-Says President Jammeh

... As he accuses the two of undermining his aids cure project!

By Our Deputy Banjul Bureau Chief Malafy  Jarju.
Paid for and Commissioned by the Freedom Newspaper.

Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh says UNAIDS/World Health Organization (WHO) officials, within and outside the impoverished West African country,” undermining his aids cure” project can as well “go to hell fire.” Addressing cabinet Ministers, Security Chiefs  and other senior Government functionaries, the controversial former military ruler wages an anti UNAIDS/WHO  bashing, accusing the global AIDS organizations  of “hell bent on frustrating his recent HIV/AIDS cure breakthrough” in the Gambia. The Gambian leader informed his audience that thanks to his intervention,  he had now found cure for the world deadliest disease HIV/AIDS. Mr.Jammeh further charges that these two organizations had proven to be “puppets” to the Western world and had always been dancing to its tune.

Breaking News:D25Million Missing At the Brikama Area Council-Chairman Gaye Tells the Freedom Newspaper!!
Tuesday, June 19, 2007 (922 reads)

Land's Sambou           Jammeh                  Balla Gaye

By Our Western Division Correspondent Wise Man.
Paid For and Commissioned by the Freedom Newspaper.

The Chairman of the Brikama Area Council Ousman Gaye, in a interview with the Freedom Newspaper, confirmed that about D25Million Dalasis has gone missing at their Council, while insisting that they would continue to impose water fees to the inhabitants of the locality. Gaye who was interviewed in his office by this reporter, cited  an Audit report ,which uncovered “the missing millions” at the Brikama Area Council. Our Western Division Chief Correspondent Wise Man met Mr.Gaye at his office Monday Morning, where the Chairman was taken to task regarding the water crisis in Brikama, which is seemingly creating unrest in that part of the Gambia. Reporter Wise Man first introduced himself as a representative of a media house, before the interview proper started. Mr.Gaye, who appeared composed, focused and determined to answer to the Freedom Newspaper’s enquiries said "his council took the decision to impose water bills on the people of Brikama" due to lack of funds to run council activities. He also cited the unpaid Council arrears on the side of the inhabitants. This he observed, was undermining council activities. When put to him that his council lacked funds due to corruption related activities and as such had embarked on imposing "exorbitant water bills" on the people of Brikama, Gaye used the interview to clear his image from any wrong doing.  He however intimated that “Bala Musa Cham, the CEO of the Council, Fafa Kuyateh, the then accountant, Papa Cham, a collector at Karcum sand mining near Sanyang village, in Kombo Central, were linked to such official graft.” Gaye said his team inherited a “big mess” at the Brikama Area Council, but due to his leadership role things were  changing for the better.

Jammeh jailed Ousainou Colley!!

By A Correspondent

It appears that the Mile Two Prisons in Banjul, is far from being stable. Not stable at all. A major shake up has hit the Prison Department. Prison officials who are expected to run the affairs of the jail house, are now being jailed. Commissioner of Prison Ousainou Colley has joined his superior David Colley in jail, the Freedom Newspaper can reveal. Ousainou Colley was the Mile Two store keeper until his recent arrest. Police arrested him this past week on charges of theft,  felony and conspiracy. He is being investigated by the Gambian police on the above mentioned charges. A dependable source who emailed the Freedom Newspaper said  Colley hailed from Makubmbaya near Kombo Lamin. He is one of the top brass of the Prison Department. His arrest is causing unrest in the prison, as anxiety and worry continues to grip other prison officials.

Horomsi:Gambia's President Yahya Jammeh to hand over the country to Gen.Tamba?? State House insider leaks Jammeh's plans!
Monday, June 18, 2007 (1724 reads)

Lang to succeed to Jammeh?               Jammeh's plans to hand
                                                         over the country leaked!

Horomsi: If the information I received from this State House insider, is to go by, President Yahya Jammeh is likely to hand over the country to General Lang Tombong Tamba pretty soon. Lang has been tipped as Jammeh’s next “successor.” The President has hinted about his intention to hand “over the country” to Lang Tombong Tamba, in too distance future, according to  well placed sources handling classified files at the State House in Banjul. It’s not clear,  what might have necessitated Jammeh’s proposed action to hand over the country, but Lang himself had confided to a close friend of his about “his future leadership.” Our source quoted Tamba of having said that the President had “assured him of being his next successor” in the future, but should “keep the military out of active politics.”  President Jammeh is increasingly worried about his leadership “failure” amid international isolation and economic collapse befalling the West African country. Handing over the country to the Civilian population is out it for now. For Jammeh, he believes that with Lang replacing him, he might have a smooth stay in The Gambia, without facing any form of persecution from the new government. Tamba’s recent promotion as “General” was done for a purpose.

PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'-Balla Jahumpa,Fatou Jaw Manneh,Jammeh's mother'sousin Fanta dies secrets!
Sunday, June 17, 2007 (1332 reads)

Balla reported
FJ Manneh!

Balla Jahumpa reported Fatou Jaw Manneh before she arrived.
This is something Fatou Jaw Manneh herself does not know! She was seen, trailed and reported by Balla Jahumpa to President Jammeh from a hotel room in Dakar. Balla may not know but Bulfaaleh has been trailing him too. He could not control his mouth when he was drunk. He then spat the secret out unconciously. Balla spotted the lady along the way where she may or may not remember and then called President Jammeh to inform him about her arrival time and date plus flight details. The President himself gave the details of the lady's voyage to the arresting NIA officers. Fatou Jaw Manneh has to lie low or else her life is nearing excessive danger in days to come.

Editor-in-Chief Bah Debunks Lowe

By Omar Bah, Editor-in-Chief

Amadou Lowe cannot scare our sources

I had not initially wanted to join the fray in nose-pulling Amadou Lowe into the right path but as a matter fact, I am compelled to do so under the circumstance. Before going further, I want to make it clear that this Amadou Lowe guy is a non-issue when it comes to Gambian politics and better still media. Just briefly, I wish to  state that Mr Lowe has done nothing while within and outside the Gambia to merit even being given publicity in the paper - and I firmly belief such reactions we are giving him are unnecessary. But we have to. People like these do not have to be left unchallenged. He touched my pulse when he unleashed an unwarranted attack entangled in a barrel of lies against the Freedom Newspaper.

The vast majority of hijacked computers are Windows PCs
The FBI is contacting more than one million PC owners who have had their computers hijacked by cyber criminals.

The initiative is part of an ongoing project to thwart the use of hijacked home computers, or zombies, as launch platforms for hi-tech crimes.

The FBI has found networks of zombie computers being used to spread spam, steal IDs and attack websites.

The agency said the zombies or bots were "a growing threat to national security".

Signs of trouble

The FBI has been trying to tackle networks of zombies for some time as part of an initiative it has dubbed Operation Bot Roast.

This operation recently passed a significant milestone as it racked up more than one million individually identifiable computers known to be part of one bot net or another.

Rams at Brikama!!

By A Staff Writer

Jammeh believes in spiritual work

Spiritual work in Africa means a lot for some communities-mostly importantly despotic leaders. Leaders like the Gambian President Yahya Jammeh, relied on spiritual predictions to run their governments. Here is a sad, but  human interesting story we are reporting today. The story touches on  alleged plans to take the life of the Gambian leader and his Mum through a magical work designed by a grand marabout from neighboring Senegal. The Marabout has since disappeared from his family. Armed Gambian guards abducted him and was taken to  an undisclosed location.
