THE GHANAIAN INTERIOR MINISTER HAS LOST IT

By David Sambou,UK.

I was browsing through the allafrica.com when I came across a story that was posted from the Ghanaian chronicles, which is a Ghanaian newspaper. On was an interview they had with the interior minister who goes by the name kwamena Bartley. Mr Bartley was some how appealing to the Ghanaians to be patient whiles assuring his compatriots that the government was doing all it could to uncover the mystery surrounding the gruesome murder of 44 Ghanaians execution style in the Gambia. I entirely agree with him on that, since the government of the Gambia is suspected to play a part in the murder in one way or the other.

Government mounts pressure on Gambia
. , 23/08/2007

A seven-member government delegation will depart Accra for the Gambia on Friday 24th August, 2007 as part of continuing investigations into the murder of eight Ghanaians and disappearance of about forty-four others in July, 2005 whilst en route to Europe through Senegal.

This was contained in a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Accra.

The two-year investigation has not been helped by strong suspicions that the mass assassinations were undertaken by the Gambian authorities, who wrongly suspected the people to be mercenaries.

They were, according to findings, Africans desperately seeking an illegal pass to Europe who were left stranded near the shores of the Gambia.

Yahya Jammeh Ordered for the Killing of Finance Minister Ousman Koro Ceesay!!

By Lamarana Jallow, son of The Gambia.

Dear Editors,

My fellow Gambians and friends of The Gambia, I'm back today with a deep secret from the office of the President in Banjul,  where I worked as a senior army officer. The following Secretaries of State and service men should open their ears and listen. There is a ploy reached by President Jammeh, Gen.Lang Tombong Tamba and Musa Jammeh. The ploy is to get rid of certain people in government suspected of opposing his recent move to sell GAMTEL, GAMCEL and GIA. The list of those targeted for elimination reads as follow: Edward Singhatey, Secretary of State, Yankuba Touray, Secretary of State and Musa Balla Gaye, Secretary of State. In the army, the following officers are targeted for elimination: Colonel Peter Singhatey, Officer Masaneh Kinteh and few other officers whose names I will preserved for security reasons. The above named individuals should watch their backs  from now on, as there is a ploy reached to eliminate them. The President is increasingly worried about his unilateral move to sell these parastatals. He has been fed by the NIA about the public reaction in town.

Data Mining at NIA-National Intelligence Agency-Who benefits from the results?
For those of us who are not schooled in the art of intelligence gathering please read these revelations then understand the boopy traps NIA is littering in Banjul and abroad with regards to data mining. I was lucky to have received these revelations from someone who works at the State House. I can bet the NIA and their agents in the civil service are engaged on this vicious cylce without even knowing the meaning of the term data mining, term itself. The same Captain Lamin Saine's name featured in my findings again. As was reported before Saine is the brain child of President Jammeh's intelligence.

Living in the life of fantasy-Fanglungbaley's wishful dream-Part one Essay!
Wednesday, August 22, 2007 (301 reads)

Fanglungbaley spent most of his life time gossiping people in our neighborhood. He believes in blowing his own trumpet. He claimed to be the most schooled among our local town folks. Fanglungbaley got PHD in lies and gossip from Naficya University. You got to be rich and well connected to be admitted in Naficya University. All the scholars of the said institution graduated with honors, except Fanglungbaley. Fang as he is fondly called by our two folks, was often seen as an “unstable being” who spent most of the time on the phone defaming others. He would often brag” You see.. If I want Mademba will be arrested . I work with the Cumba County Investigators.” For Fanglungbaley, Mademba is an illiterate, a stubborn kid who should be taught a lesson.  Ha ha ha ha… Interesting!!  isn’t it? Fang’s problems with Mademba started when he openly declared his intention of ruling Cambiblong for good. Mademba set up a political party and declared his opposition to Fang’s growing leadership greed. Mademba succeeded in taming the lion that never was in our little town. He ended up taking over Cambiblong. He directs the affairs of the state. Whatever, he decides is final.

Breaking News:Lawyer Darboe accused of being "too cheap and compromising." Scales raises reservations about Darboe's piece on GAMTEL!
Wednesday, August 22, 2007 (584 reads)

Michael Scales Describes UDP Leader's Reaction to the Sale of GAMTEL, GAMCEL and others as Too "weak and compromising."

Scales Believes that Darboe is trying to appease the leadership by making such cheap statements!
... As he calls for stronger opposition in The Gambia

"It is woeful of Mr Darboe...to ask politely that future privatisations should be done with the consultation of the people...as if what is done is done...surley there is much more that can be done to repeal..these silent incursions on The gambias, economic future ? If there has been a change in the Constitution to allow this to be done....Where was the consultation and the advice to the people of its consequences ?If it has not been done by the accepted methods in place..as he suggests..What does he propose to do about it ? This Government should be accountable to the people..Where is the outrage !!! Does he speak for the people ?The Freedom Newspaper, has given their  verdict on these sales in recent pieces....They are not amused...The Gambia is not amused.....period !!!  The slight tap on the wrist to the ARPC from Mr Darboe is Just Not Good Enough !!!
The gambian People are waiting for strong leadership and opposition to the relentless march of this... adminsitration."

By Michael Scales, UK

Dear Mr.Editor,
May i respectfully raise more than just an eybrow , at the private sale of Gamtel and Gamcel. If i were Mr Darboe...I think raising the roof would be much more appropriate. For many years,i trod the corridors of these impressive organistations, which stand, tall  as the pillars of Gambian Commercial Integrity.Leaving South Africa,to one side....Gamtel and its newer sister Gamcel...are indeed the finest beacons of there kind in WHOLE of the  Africa.
