Gainako Editor Initiates Peace Deal Between Mathew And The Freedom Newspaper!
A Letter to Uncle Mathew, Pa Mbai & to all those that matter.
By Yero Jallow, Associate Editor Gainako Newspaper
Dear Uncle Mathew, Pa Mbai & all those that matter,
I followed keenly the ongoing exchange of harsh words (tit for tat) to newspaper level publication. I am truly saddened by such; I wish it was never at that level. First of all, I don’t belong to any organization, political party, or interest group, so I am entirely acting on my own behalf. I might be the littlest of persons to mediate in this problem, but I thought you will all respect my call on your immediate cease-fire and move onto something worthy our fight. At a time when dictatorship has havocked our nation and its people, both of you need not to be lectured by me or anyone else that the fight should be focal on the oppressive administration.

Gambia: Mathew Jallow Exposed: Editorial: Success VS Hate? Tuesday, December 22, 2009 (1701 reads)
Editorial: Success VS Hate?
Mathew Jallow The Shameless Plagiarizer
In the field of academia, plagiarizers are often expelled. It is dishonest to steal or lift people’s hard earned work without giving credit to them. We expect self proclaimed journalists like Mathew to respect the rule. Your actions tantamount to stealing.
While we are preoccupied with covering pressing political matters at home, some idle folks are stirring a beef with the Freedom Newspaper. One of them is Mathew Jallow, the flip-flopping crybaby, who thinks that he can remote control us from his candor apartment room in Wisconsin. He wants to determine what we should publish and what not. He also wants to measure our journalistic qualifications. Fine, we have no problem with Mathew offering an advice to the Freedom Newspaper, but his actions should be guided by honesty and goodwill. His “hateful and misguided” piece clearly exposes his vengeance against this paper. Mathew Jallow is a plagiarizer, who uses Freedom Newspaper articles without giving credit to his source of information. This is the highest form of journalistic dishonesty. He copied our OJ Jallow story without having the courtesy to credit his source. We sometime wonder if this crybaby Jallow has ever been tutored about journalistic and academic honesty.

Setting The Records Straight: The Fatou Jaw Manneh Controversy!!
Who is Trying To Fool Who???
For the records: We spoke with Fatou Jaw Manneh before publishing the so called letter. She was privy to the content of the letter before going to press. We are not irresponsible. We are not going to disclose what was discussed on the phone. She told us she cared less about the publication of the letter. Just a heads up! We also ran an IP test about the source of the said letter. Who is fooling who here? Why the blackmailing? Why trying to make us the bad guy? No one can use us for cheap publicity. You get that. We are on top of the game...

Gambia:Michael Scales Shared His Past Experiences In Africa Monday, December 21, 2009 (730 reads)
Michael Scales Shared His Past Experiences In Africa!
Dear Mr. Editor,
From an early age, ever since my father found me that Zulu war shield, in the local Parish Church Jumble sale, I have been fascinated by The African. As a child, how many battles did I fight against all those enemies of my domain protected by my black and white cow hide. I was always victorious. To compare my child's illusions to the reality of the true African I have found in The Gambia and Nigeria.....I must admit to some disappointment. For Africa is not the land of the fearless and brave warrior that I had always come to believe. In my many campside fires, speaking to African's about their forefathers, all remember with reverence the great uncle or the great grandfather, who stalked the antelope amongst the Lions ..hunting for food and provisions. The fabled African did exist once as an independent and fearless hunter, armed with only that same shield and trusty spear and experience on how to survive in the most hostile climate.
