Poem:DEEP INSIDE THIS HARSH DIFFERENCE! Saturday, March 25, 2006 (275 reads)
Are we so different inside this difference?
Do we actually differ in this difference?
When you differ,are you different?
Are you drinking this difference or is this difference drinking you?
Organizing that conference in this difference.
The theme itself is the difference!
Hasn't this theme not caused that steam?
Will this theme continue causing more steam?
Peace melts near this steam!
Itching palms mixed with itching eyes.
ESSA SEY THE SON OF PEN!!!

JAMMEH'S SUPORTER ISSUES DEATH THREATS AGAINST THE FREEDOM NEWSPAPER!!! Saturday, March 25, 2006 (283 reads)
A supporter of President Yahya Jammeh based in Atlanta Georgia here in the United States SEREIGN NYANG has urged the Management of the Freedom Newspaper and its contributors to start facilitating the quick evacuation of their families before they will be touched and ultimately killed in the event of any uprising in The Gambia. Mr. Fye’s threatening letter which appeared on the Progressive Africans online Paper known to be promoting the dictatorial policies of President Jammeh’s government went hard on this paper’s management team. Mr. Fye’s wild reaction was compelled by opinion pieces written by outsiders on the alleged recent foiled coup in The Gambia and the paper’s quote of the day popular column. Well, we are not intimidated by Fye and his allies. Freedom will not be intimidated by such Jammeh agents. We decided to publish this death threat mail for the sake of posterity. Please read on…
By SEREIGN NYANG
It is just sad to read on what some of our writers assuming to be enlightening the people with informations of unreachable public interest, disseminating very scary and bogus personal ideas aspiring to see the end of President Jammeh's administration regardless of human lives and properties. My advice to whoever has such evil thoughts in mind, is to start evacuating their family members because God would crush them when their negative wishes happen or be silent before they die and go to hell.

TEETH BITE:EBOU JALLOW SAYS DARBOE MAY BE WANTED IN CONNECTION WITH COUP? Saturday, March 25, 2006 (377 reads)
Is brother Ebou Jallow former AFPRC spokesman trying to scare UDP leader Ousainou Darboe to death? Did you read what Ebou wrote on The Gambia Post recently? Well Ebou is implying that Darboe was wanted in question with Tuesday’s abortive coup. Ebou’s message reads” Mr. Manjang, say whatsoever you want. I am just a messenger reporting information from multiple sources. There is no doubt that this recent foiled attempt was instigated and cooked by some elements within the opposition. I hope that the air shall be cleared upon Ousainou Darboe's return to The Gambia. There is going to be a new ball game in town and he might as well run to the nearest foreign embassy. Just watch. Ebou”

BENNEH MINTEH CALLS FOR THE RESPECT OF THE DETAINEES RIGHTS!!!! Saturday, March 25, 2006 (286 reads)
THE FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHT OF ALL DETAINEES IN CONNECTION WITH THE ALLEDGED COUP ATTEMPT MUST BE RESPECTED
BINNEH S MINTEH
Massive arrest and detention of senior officers of The Gambian Armed Forces and prominent civilian is the talk within and beyond the territorial boundary of the tiny West African State. The reason given as usual and always was “an attempt to overthrow the regime of President Yaya Jammeh.”. As a victim of the same regime, for the same reason, it is not at all a surprise to me and to most Gambians, that the regime has once again employed its notorious strategy, to silent innocent Sons of our beloved country.
BENNEH S MINTEH, ESCAPES DEATH AFTER THE ABORTIVE BOGUS NOVEMBER 11 COUP.

EDITORIAL: WAS IT A FOILED COUP OR COOKED FOILED COUP? Friday, March 24, 2006 (367 reads)
EDITORIAL
President Yahya Jammeh’s claim that the alleged coupists were victims of an outside influence is a cause for concern. Interestingly, Jammeh did not tell the nation which country was trying to instigate the military to be rebellious against his repressive regime. Or is this yet another Jammeh “black mail” against the men of The Gambia National Army? As usual, Jammeh kept on rambling, while addressing the nation. We thought that he was going to come out with material evidence to indict the alleged coupsits, but no evidence was advanced by the Presidency. Perhaps, they will import evidence from the Italian mafia Caso, who was used as a star witness in the Lalo Jaiteh and others treason trial. The said case was dismissed by the courts due to lack of evidence.

I will end these ruthless, callous and shameless acts of treachery and sabotage-President Jammeh!!! Friday, March 24, 2006 (380 reads)
"Fellow Gambians, Let me once again remind you, as I always say, I will live and die for this country. As to that which concerns the progress of this country, we have taken a course of no return and no intimidation no matter how mighty, can derail our predestined patriotic course of rapid development. It was by Allah's leave that my regime came into being and it will be by the same leave that attemtps to unconstitutionally overthrow it will be crushed without mercy. Gambians can be rest assured that Allah willing, I will set an example that would put a definitive end to these ruthless, callous and shameless acts of treachery and sabotage. I have warned Gambians long enough. This time, you can be rest assured is not the time for sympathy. Enough of this nonsense."said a furious President Yahya Jammeh, in his first public statement since Tuesday's, alleged foiled coup.
