Dear Pa

PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'-Setting examples or warnings-Self defense. Wednesday, May 24, 2006 (780 reads)
Setting examples for President Jammeh and his people to stop the threats!
In Banjul these days threats fly like hell. These threats from the state house have started reaching people who're beyond borders. As far as our people are ready to bow before these threats President Jammeh will survive for a long time. His intension is to ride on the tombs of every Gambian before he finally meets his death. This evening I met someone who told me a lot about the Inspector General of Police. He knows the man very well.

Bufaaleh spill the beans again

Freedom Newspaper Mail Bag-What our readers say today!!!! Wednesday, May 24, 2006 (452 reads)
By: Ous Ja
Hello everyone,
Well Mr. editor, I don't know what is the main reason behind the deal yesterday, that your online news paper was closed, well what ever it might be it's ok with people like me, even if I am trace who cares, not me, I personally have the right to support any political party, and I have the right to read any news paper or belong to any organization. Daily observer promise to list the names of the people, one thing they most understand for people like me we gave false addresses-mail, but if the daily observer wants to know openly who are against the government, well I am one of them, and even if I am brought b4 the man, I will tell him the same thing, one thing is certain in life is death, so I am prepaid to get it anyhow or anytime, but that will never stop people like me to do what we like, we are innocent and decent humans, we live by our sweat, I go to school, and do cleaning in the evening to support myself and my family, so inside me I know I am clean, daily observer go ahead and publish anything about us...we don't care .....we are decent Gambians...we struggle for our living.

We are Back to Business-There will be “No retreat, No Surrender”-Freedom at Last!!! Tuesday, May 23, 2006 (840 reads)
We are Back to Business-There will be “No retreat, No Surrender”-Freedom at Last!!!
We are back to business. Come rain, come shine, we are here to stay God willing. No amount of black mailing tactics can move the Freedom Newspaper. The Jammeh online cyber “terrorists” failed in their attempt to smear the unshakable reputation of Pa Nderry M’Bai. The invasion of our editorial file and personal email account was an act of terrorism geared towards undermining the credibility of this leading paper. We are resolute and will not be intimidated by such cowards, whose preoccupation is to lie and kill peace loving Gambians. Investigations into this well organized crime are in high gears and whoever is linked to it will be exposed. The enemy is still relentless in his efforts to ground this paper, but they will woefully failed in their drive to silence dissent.

Freedom Newspaper,Managing Editor/Publisher Pa Nderry M'Bai, speaks-Jammeh and his cyber"terrorists" sent to the cleaners!!!

Millions Missing From Central Bank-Editor Mathew Jallow investigates Tuesday, May 23, 2006 (722 reads)
Millions Missing From Central Bank.
By: Associate Editor Mathew Jallow
Authorities in The Gambian government have faced stern criticism from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for misreporting government's annual financial data to the world body. It turned out that Gambian authorities provided the IMF with fraudulent accounts while hiding the whereabouts of billions of dalasis taken from the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves. In the 2001-2002 financial year, $28.5 million which is the equivalent of 8.1 billion dalasis was taken by Jammeh's government from our foreign exchange reserves at The Central Bank of The Gambia.

PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'- Banjul Screening-Those who leak are close to the man himself Tuesday, May 23, 2006 (700 reads)
Banjul Screening is getting so wild now.
It is fully understood. President Jammeh's marauding killers are so frustrated these days. One can hear the rumbling sound of their angry chests as they talk about what the freedomnewspaper is writing. What these goons are doing is posting pickets near the house of Pa Nderry Mbai or any person they may suspect that is leaking what the state house calls 'State Matters'. This is where they differ from sound minds all over the world. Duirng this era of information technology wise governments use these revelations to help them ammend laws or change their approaches. With President Jammeh these things being written on line is just too bad.

JAMMEH'S CAGE RATTLED AGAIN-FREEDOM
SHALL SURVIVE!!!

Following the sudden closure of the Freedom Newspaper by Jammeh's "terrorists"-Readers reacts!!! Tuesday, May 23, 2006 (548 reads)
By Alhagie Bah
Dear Editor,
My analyses on the impacts of the internet/ information and communication technology (ICT) on our lives have once again been proven by the hacking of the Freedom Newspaper site on Tuesday, the 23rd of May 2006! As I said, we are all VULNERABLE to the theft and exposure of our PRIVACY and IDENTITY! The blatant listing of Freedom Newspaper "SOURCES" is very unfortunate. Though, I fear APRC clamp-down on some of those names listed and living in the Gambia, I appeal to all to stand firm.

Breaking News: Gamtel, GPA other institutions to foot AU Summit Bills-As Jammeh ordered them to contribute each D1Million dalasis!!!
By:Justice Sam and Karafa Badjie
As preparations for the much talked about AU Banjul Summit is under way, Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh is making last minute rush to milk the private sector by asking them to pledge each D1Million dalasis before the historic occasion, a well placed State House source told the Freedom Newspaper today. Gamtel, the country’s main Communication company and The Gambia Ports Authority were said to have been tasked with footing a greater part of the AU exorbitant bills. The National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) which is on the brink of collapsing is also said to be struggling to meet the Presidential decree ordering Heads of government Departments to meet the said D1million dalasis target before the AU Summit.

Gambian authorities "deceived the IMF" says a well placed government official. The source says Gamtel and GPA are footing the greater part of the AU Summit bills.
